This is a sports hotel next to the football stadium, but also just 5 minutes away from the beautiful chateau of Topol’čanky with its chateau, park, forest trails and castle Hrušov, all well worth a visit! The hotel provides an excellent breakfast.

Small windows and a lot of noise on football night (to be expected!)

The size of the room was good - everything spacious. The room was quiet and although there was a party going on the restaurant it did not worry me at all. Parking on the first night was limited. If it had not been for the following comments I would have rated this property higher.

First of all the staff that I encountered - indifferent and sometimes invisible. The room and the bathroom were both spacious but the shower was this tiny little cubicle stuck in the corner where it was hard to turn around in. Acutely aware that there was a sloping roof but I think they could have thought that one through a bit better. And there was breakfast! First morning I would hazard a guess that nobody knew what they were doing. Nobody to welcome you in to the dining area (work it out yourself) and a buffet is easy to negotiate until you realise there are cereals and no milk, no juices, no eggs and barely warm sausages (parky). Then about 5 minutes later staff burst into the dining room carrying bottles of multivitamin juice and Fanta. Yes...they plonked a large bottle of Fanta on each table for breakfast!! Next morning was not much better albeit less the bottles of Fanta (although I was secretly hoping that they would be handing out Coca Cola!). Admittedly there were eggs available although, just like the sausages, they were virtually stone cold because there were no heating dishes for them. I stay in the area once a year when I visit my sister and thought I would try this hotel but I certainly will not be returning there unless management and staff change. Ultimately I understand that it is owned by the football club, for the football and, as evidence points out, probably the staff are football players with little idea of what to do. The only reason that I gave a higher rating is because the rooms are nice in size and clean. It is a shame as it comes across as a nice property but looks are deceiving.

The location is very good if visiting Topolcianky/Hrusov or going for a football match - the stadium is connected to the hotel area. A big supermarket is available in approx. 10 minutes from the hotel, a bus stop is located in front of the hotel, the town center can be reached within 20 minutes walking. The room was spacious but with a low ceiling, especially in the bathroom. Both the room and bathroom were clean, the TV and the fridge were both working well. The breakfast was average for this hotel class.

I did my booking on June 22nd and asked the hotel one day later about the opening hours and price of the hotel pool. I got a quick answer that the pool is free of charge and opened between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. On my arrival on August 19th, I got no information regarding the pool, so I asked the check-in staff and was informed that the pool is closed. I do not understand why the guests were not information about this situation. For me, the pool was the main reason for booking the hotel and staying in Zlate Moravce and not in Nitra. It would cost nothing to inform guests with reservations in advance per e-mail or a message about this substantial change in the provided service. At the check-out, the staff had not asked about my satisfaction and its attitude was very cold in general.
