How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Cleanliness is important, but they started vacuuming my door every morning at 5:40 AM. A third of the parking lot was taken up by the hotel's company cars, which made it quite difficult to get out of the lower parking lot. The bar is only open until 8:00 PM.
Excellent, clean accommodation, closed parking, quiet area.

There was no iron in hotel, but info promised an iron. We expected one double bed but get two single beds one near another.
The food in the restaraunt is amaizing. The hotel is clean and I can reccoment it!

A bit expensive for a location like this - rather far away from the city centre. Breakfast was good but when we joined the food was almost finished and we had to wait around 10 minutes for the staff to bring it. The food choice was rather poor.
Great looking hotel with beautiful reception area. Room was ok, there was everything we needed. Free parking.

A really nice place to stay. The staff were welcoming and spoke English. The breakfast was really excellent with lots of variety and plenty of everything. Quiet location, well situated for exploring Nitra, and also close enough to Bratislava that we could reach it easily after a late flight. We would gladly stay here again.

My prefered breakfast, with good coffe, I was satisfied. Quickly prepared and tasty dinner, comfortable bed and quiet location. I recommend this accommodation.

Stayed one night. Beautiful, clean hotel. Stylized from the times of ladies and knights. Very colorful interiors. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We didn't take breakfast, I don't know what it was like. Overall, we really liked this hotel.

Shower leaking in room nr 7. Bkfst variety- u can choose either eggs on various art or wiener sausage. Nothing else to choose from

The receptionist unfortunately could not speak a word other than Slovakian (she was friendly and kind though).
Excellent location (close to my workplace), free parking oopportunity, very nice breakfast. The room was equipped well. Excellent price value ratio.

The breakfast was unfortunately not great; I don’t mind small variety but stuff was rarely refilled. We had to wait even for bread. The coffee was also mediocre and there was no milk (well, there were milk containers). First world problem we had was that the curtains were too small for the windows.
Spacious rooms, close to the city center but not too much so it was very calm, nice staff, free convenient parking.

A bit of a walk from Nitra city centre but at least you are in a quiet street here for sleeping well.
Secure, private parking. Comfortable beds, spacious quality rooms, generous breakfast selection.

I regularly go there, because I had basically good experiences. I can see lots of improvements in recent years: The rooms and especially the bathroom has been rebuilt, renewed for instance. This time the receptionist spoke perfect English, we immediately had a nice conversation. The room was causy, the wifi perfect, TV programs perfect and the bed was very comfortable too. The breakfast is rich and awesome (unfortunately I cannot it too much for breakfast :) )! All in all I recommend it to everyone!
