Just a short walk from the bus stop in Apaneca. We booked a “deluxe double” with a balcony and garden view but got a room with a blocked window instead. After complaining, we were moved to a spacious family room with a fan. Comfortable mattress, decent linen, poor towels. Bathroom had good hot water. Quiet location and very good breakfast.

Our room was very stuffy, even with the windows open. I'm not sure if the larger rooms are better or not. The bathrooms need a make over. It's crazy that they bother to fold the toilet paper into flowers and yet no one has ever washed the bathroom door. It is very grimy and disgusting. Re do the bathrooms and improve the ventilation and the hotel will rank better.

The hotel and restaurant are really nice, our room was quite small but the larger deluxe rooms looked better. Breakfast is very good. You have your choice between 6 options. The fan was good but ours couldn't go fast enough to cool the room better. Shower has hot water. Location is great, it's close to the main square but is quiet at night.

The fan and tv we're not working on room 3 and they were fully booked and couldn't move us to a different room. Also the "Deluxe Room" was downstairs or was overbooked but there was no view. Also when we realized the fan wasn't working we tried to go to the desk but lights were off at around 11:00pm.

We liked the friendliness of the staff and how clean the room was. They even allowed us to do an earlier check in.

It was rainy season and humid and hot. Please put a longer cord on the fan/light so that someone can reach it. We couldn't use the fan without the light, which was a real problem on that hot night. We had to put a chair up and unscrew the light to turn it off so we could have a fan. There needs to be a screen on the window as it was necessary to open it but there were mosquitos. Would have had the door open if we weren't on the walkway.

The complimentary breakfast was great. The staff was very nice. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The garden area is pretty.

This place was spotless, any time of the day that we walked through the lobby they were mopping and cleaning the common areas. The balcony offered a beautiful view of the city and just a few blocks from the center of town. They also had secure parking behind a locked gate which we loved. We were there for Holy Friday. If you come for Holy Friday expect your car to be locked in for the day as the city shuts down for the procession. They were still going at 7am on Saturday walking the procession around town. We had room 4 and there was only a fan to cool off, however it gets cooler in the evenings there so we just propped our door open with the fan and allowed the outside air to circulate for 10mins and we were good to go. The hot water worked well. And the breakfast was delicious! The staff was super helpful and answered all of our questions. Also don't miss out on the ATV rides by the church. And the riguas con queso were amazing I had like 5 between the 2 nights we were there. The frescos in the market were amazing as well.

We expected (as per booking details) access to kitchen, washing machine/ dryer, outdoor seating, view from room (no window) and explained this to the manager who apologised, said the details were out of date and he will update. Had we known this we would have booked elsewhere.

Bed was comfortable water was hot room was a good size breakfast was really good the staff were friendly and tried to help (eg we changed our towels after 2 days) location in Ataco is good and pretty quiet at night.

I wish the bar/restaurant/coffee had more customers. I think the tourist numbers here have not yet rebounded from Covid times. So, not much opportunity for social interaction yet.

It was in a quiet neighborhood but very close to intercity bus stops and to the center of Ataco. The compact room opened into a charming courtyard. Good in-site food and drink at reasonable prices. Great coffee. Staff were very helpful and charming.

Very old property which needs TLC. Not good value for money and eally don't understand how it could be rated so highly. Restaurant had a good choice but food average for dinner.
