It would be nice if they had bicycles or snorkel gear to borrow.

We loved the historic charm, the amazing staff, the food, and the proximity to the beach (which we mostly had all to ourselves). The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious; we had everything we needed. Having tea on the porch was lovely.

I thought we were booked for a room facing the water with a walk out to a balcony. The room was called ; “executive” which evidently meant a room facing the back. Was offered to move rooms but only for one night and it wasn’t worth it. The flat screen TV advertised is in the shared dining room not in your room. (Not a big deal to us) There is not an actual beach across the road. It’s a concrete wall. Pretty rough looking but you can walk around and get to the beach.

Very rustic and charming. Right across the street from the ocean. Nice balcony and restaurant. The black friendly cat was definitely a sweet addition.

The beaches within walking distance were just ok. To get to better beaches you need to walk a mile more or rent a golf cart.

The hotel was very comfortable and historic. Rooms were updated and modern. Restaurant had great food and the staff was excellent. Location was withing walking distance to the one grocery store on the island as well as historic landmarks and beaches.

The room we were allocated was a box even though the rest of the hotel was empty and although we moved rooms we weren’t given a free upgrade We arrived on a Sunday and there was no evening meals or bar and we were not aware of this

Very colonial and the room we ended up in was spacious Staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was good Position and outlook were very good Very relaxed atmosphere which was relaxing and helpful

The inn doesn’t serve lunch at the moment. They’re planning to open a taco bar opposite; once that’s completed it should be a fun lunch option.

This pretty and historic hotel is across the street from the ocean. It’s very easy to walk from the hotel to beaches and restaurants and/or places like the Grand Turk Museum. The food at the Turks Head was great! However the manager (Loli) is also the chef, and I don’t think she has many helpers in the kitchen. If she has a lot of orders (eg at dinner), service is slow. The rooms are small. The hotel originally served divers and it retains that practical budget vibe: eg the room assumes you’re living out of your suitcase. There is a hook where you can hang up a couple items but there is no closet. There is room under the bed for a small suitcase. The attached Bathroom was clean and functional, but has an open shower (no curtain) Loli is a very engaged manager. She set me up with transport from the airport when I arrived and helped find me a rental car. I was grateful to her because when I arrived there were no taxis or rental cars at the airport!

We loved being able to sit on the pretty balcony of our room and watch the changing light on the water. The newly renovated second floor room with a king sized bed was a great size with high ceilings. Our hostess was amazing and arranged a taxi pick up and golf cart rental. Our breakfast on the patio courtyard was really good. It was very cool to stay in a hotel rich in history - John Glenn and President Johnson stayed in the hotel - and to get to know the other residents on the historic street. There are two beautiful beaches within a short walk. We loved the old world charm of the inn.

Nothing really. It's not super luxurious, and rough around the edges in some places, but if you don't mind that it's a lovely place to stay.

Loved staying here. The manager Lollo is an amazing individual who is always on hand (24 hours a day!) to help with anything. Nothing was a problem. We staying in room 1 which was great. It opened out onto a beautiful veranda with a sea view. The room itself was great - comfortable bed, good airconditioning, great bathroom. Would highly recommend

Communication remains a big issue on Grand Turk. Contact your cell phone provider BEFORE going and make sure you will have service. The internet was in and out throughout the week there.

The breakfast was great. The location was central. But the proprietress (Loli) was spectacular. Loli did everything from seat you in the restaurant to make calls on your behalf to taxis, whale watch operations, and/or the food store. Be prepared to "rough" it a little - Grand Turk remains kind of a 3rd world place. But safe and hospitable. Do yourself a favor and get a golf cart at the airport...the "private dealers" of golf carts are a bit sketchy. The carts ran, but barely. The best carts are near the Cruise center...and of course, you'll pay - but it's worth it.

We had a hot water issue, but was rectified by the next day. Sunday is most business/restaurant day off. Plan accordingly or you could by without something to eat.

Lollie's breakfasts were delicious. Fresh fruit is always a plus. We never had a bad meal. The location was delightful. The view of the sea out our window was extraordinary. The history on Duke Street was so interesting. A very walkable area to the "downtown." Golf carts are available for the day to see further sights. The best part of the trip were the people. They are very friendly and kind. When the cruise ships are in port, there is a lot more activity.

Tiny shoebox for a lot of money

A lot shabbier than it looks on the picture. I clearly had a different room than in the pictures. It's called Economy Queen, and the only "queen" about the room is the bed. There's actually not much else. There's no chair, no desk, hardly enough room to put a suitcase or even backpack. When you open the room door, you are pretty much directly standing in the bed which fills 80 percent of the room. There's only one side where you can get in the bed. The bathroom is good, bigger than all the rest of the room. I paid for 2 nights, but left after 1 night. Even taking into account that Turks and Caicos in general is an expensive destination, charging 160 dollars for that room is outrageous. One of the worst value for money deals I ever had on booking.com. Even in Manhattan you get more for that money.

Great location, close to beach, central attractions, a few restaurants. Bathroom was good, wifi worked well, air condition too. They organised a rental car for me with pickup at the airport, and that worked fine.
