The resort is cozy & quiet . I felt relaxed & comfortable . Loved the oceanfront one bedroom suite . Their beach is gorgeous, clean , & not crowded during the peak season .

Some of the staff was great, some were not. The pool was dirty regularly, the room service food was not very good, the restaurant was unpleasant to talk to every time.

Location was great, facility was well kept and clean. The housekeeping services were great as well. There were roaches in the room, which was not ok. I requested it be treated during our stay, not sure if it actually was, but the pests remained the remainder of our stay. Running along the kitchen counters, on the coffee pot, on the dishes, etc.

The hotel feels a little old and we wish the pool and the gym could be larger. We found some stains (maybe lip stick) on the curtain, bed board, bath towel, and one of the bath robes. There are two small restaurants on site, one by the pool and one on the beach. The service at the restaurant by the beach was slow. Breakfast is complimentary but the choice is very limited.

We enjoyed our six nights at West Bay Club. All the staff there are very friendly. The hotel is on the small side, you can easily walk to the pool and the beach. We stayed in one of the three bedroom suites, which is huge and has a beautiful scene of the ocean. The bedrooms are large, each has its own bathroom. The suite also has laundry machines and kitchen, which is very convenient for a large family like us.

The food was good but more gluten free options would have been nice. The washer and dryer in our unit were appreciated but very loud.

As they do in Europe, a limit for reserving seats by the pool and the beach should be enacted. For example, if someone reserves a space, there should be a limit on timing. If the space is not taken in 2 hours (for example)- it should be open for others. I saw spaces reserved from 8 am all day with magazines or hats holding the spot and no one coming while others couldn't enjoy the space.

The staff are wonderful, the resort is a great size and the location is wonderful.

Would have been nice to have a shuttle to town and to/from the airport as most high end resorts do that. In addition, the drivers to and from the airport were deceptive. We were told price was 11.50 each way from airport but going to the resort our driver told us it was 16 per person and going back to the airport our driver told us we had to pay him in cash until I showed him on our final resort checkout receipt that the return fare had already been charged to our account. Very SHADY!! Our room was very nice as mentioned, but the box springs on one side of the bed were broken and that made for an uncomfortable sleep at times. It would be nice to have a small shop or store at the resort as the grocery in town requires taking a taxi. Overall, this is an excellent resort but it is quiet (which we wanted) and away from the hustle and bustle. With the limited restaurant options, you have to pay to go anywhere and that really adds to the price of the vacation.

breakfast was great--loved the omelet options and the fresh fruit in particular. The staff is amazing and very friendly. It was very nice to be able to get iced tea and the staff remembered that we liked iced tea instead of coffee. Very personalized experience. The lunch and dinner options were ok--would like to have a wider variety and some lower cost options; the servings were huge and we often couldn't finish everything. Drinks were very generous but almost too much alcohol at times--maybe lower the prices and put in a bit less alcohol; The room and resort overall were very nice. Special shout out to some of the amazing staff including Roshana, Roosevelt, Petrona, Jose, Robert, Kaveen, Lorenzo and Chef Nadine. The staff who brought the towels and water at night were wonderful! So kind and respectful--they rang the doorbell! Wonderful snorkeling at the reef nearby!!

It was disappointing to find that my room did not have a balcony like all of the other rooms on the premises. For the price it would have been nice to have a balcony room instead of a typical hotel room. Additionally, it was extremely disappointing to arrive in my room to find that the refrigerator had not been restocked, rather the refrigerator still had half drink water from the previous guess, no wash clothes in the bathroom, no slippers and a iron that did not work. I think for the price of the room which is well over $600 a night, I should have been give the same addition to detail that the other guess received.

I loved the location and the complimentary breakfast everyday. The breakfast was well above just a normal American breakfast fare. The staff was extremely helpful, pleasant and courteous. The grounds were clean and well kept.

Staff was unhelpful at times; beach staff did not want to help guests; bar staff on beach unhelpful and lazy. Biggest issue occurred when we checked in, as property indicated that Booking.com had cancelled the reservation and had no record of our stay.

Excellent breakfast and location on beach; plenty of activities to do; amenities are nice as well / parking easy.
