Right next to the beach, this hostel has an open entrance that serves as a living room - dining area, connected to the street. This is the perfect spot to get in touch with fellow travelers or locals passing by. I stayed at the new hostel -Trival, by aforetime- but came here twice to socialise.

there isn't a lot I can say that I didn't like, I was pretty happy with my stay overall and I'd returned after staying the first time. I'd had to move on at the time but I knew that I'd have to return

I can't fault my stay, everything from the facilities on site, the bedrooms and beds themselves, and the location of this property are all magical. The staff, including Phyo are amazing. Very helpful and go above and beyond their post to make sure you have an amazing stay.

This was an absolutely perfect property. 11/10 stars! We stayed in the private room, it was like its own little apartment, a living room and kitchen, with a separate bedroom and bathroom, and it was HUGE. The staff were absolutely lovely and so welcoming and kind. Across the road where the hostel is there is another kitchen you can use, and free filtered water. The location was amazing! Seconds from the beach. There’s some nice animals who come around regularly and are wonderful company. Fishi( on her collar), a short one we named stubby and a nice little cat. Definitely would have extended our stay much longer if we were able to

No aircon from 11am - 5pm, but I guess that's because most of the guests head out during the day

Great value for money - hostel style. Great idea to have an "honour system" for the ice cream fridge and coffee, sugar etc. We had our own room though. Definitely hire a scooter to get around - Taling Ngam Bay is quite isolated. But that's also the attraction of the place!

A few things could be improved: No dish washing detergent provided. Had to ask. No hand towels. No coasters for coffee tables. Leaving marks on tables from HOT mugs of coffee. Could have provided small milk for coffee in fridge. Most good accommodation provide this.

Location, very quiet, close to beach. Cafe & restaraunts close by. Easy hire of motorcycle.

Nothing. It was fantastic and the hosts are delightful. Make sure to book the car transfer as grab isn’t available at the airport.

It was in a location far away from the tourist areas of Koh Samui. It was quiet (except for noisy roosters starting at 4am everyday and going on all day). The room was comfortable. The bed was firm and new. The bathroom was good. I couldn’t fault any of the services, it was very homely. I loved it and hope to visit again.

I did notice a bit of an unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom at times, but it's something fairly common in Thailand and didn’t really take away from the overall experience.

I had such a great experience at this hostel! The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the beach and right next to a stunning temple featured in the first episode of the latest season of The White Lotus. Additionally, there's a charming café nearby called Front House, where I enjoyed a delicious breakfast every day. Their sticky rice is exceptional, and the cocktails/ coffe are a perfect way to start the day.​ The hostel itself is clean and well-maintained, with a relaxing atmosphere that made it feel like a home away from home. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything I needed. If you're looking for a clean, friendly, and beachside spot, this is definitely the place to stay. I’ll definitely be back!

The hostel is in a really nice, quiet area with very nice beaches. The team of the hostel is great! There are some really good Restaurants near the hostel. I loved my stay here - they even have a Hostel dog called „Fishi“ who is such a cute and nice girl. The temple and the waterfalls are worth a visit :)

I loved this hostel! We stayed in two private rooms over four days as we initially booked two days but opted to extend our stay as we loved it so much. The sense of community and warmth felt so comforting, and the beach is right on the doorstep and so so beautiful.

Not sound proof at all, can hear noise from downstairs and hostel shared rooms. Luckily not too late, but obviously depends on guests

We stayed in the private room which was cosy. Free water refills, right by the beach, staff really friendly and helpful. We were able to hire a bike nearby, and were given restaurant recommendations.

Not a single thing

The staff was so helpfull and kind. Accommodatie was great, bed was super comfy. I have no complaints. If you like a location that is laid back and tranquil, this is the place for you.
