Absolutely a great place! The Owner is profound. The customer service was outstanding and the fact that the owner is allowed dogs to come means everything it means in his personality. He’s a loving caring, easy guy that loves people and dogs and life itself in generally, why am I saying this because it goes all the way down to my feelings as a customer the place is great and in a great location the price was very very way lower than expected absolutely 10 out of 10. I want to use this moment and tell the owners thank you for making sure we are comfortable and feeling good. We will be back.

Great bungalow with a private Jacuzzi, it has everything you need, large living area with loads of space around the bed, kettle. Microwave, hot plate and fridge. It is located off the main road and is really quiet. There are 2 great restaurants at the end of the road. Alex is so helpful and friendly, providing great information. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Alex, the owner, is very professional and welcoming. The room is spotless and the staff are truly friendly. It's just a 5-minute walk from the sea, and there are many restaurants, bars, and supermarkets nearby that are open 24/7. A peaceful oasis in Koh Samui – highly recommended! Our stay at Moon Cottage was absolutely wonderful. The owners, Alex and David, are incredibly kind and friendly — always ready to help with anything you need and full of great recommendations for exploring the island. The swimming pool is definitely one of the highlights: clean, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing at any time of day. It’s the ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the tropical atmosphere. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The location is also perfect — close to the center, yet quiet and peaceful, with restaurants, shops, and everything you might need just a short walk away. I highly recommend Moon Cottage to anyone visiting Koh Samui who’s looking for a cozy, well-managed place to stay. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

Lovely cottage in an ideal location close to the main strip and the beach. Free Wi-Fi and excellent efficient air conditioning. Each cottage has its own private little garden with a jacuzzi and for those who like a swimming pool there is a communal pool at the end of the row of cottages. Our hosts Alex and Thomas are both extremely friendly and helpful sorting any queries without delay. We spent a month at Moon Cottage and intend to return next year.

I stayed at Moon Cottage for 1 Month Great location not far from 7/11, Legacy Muscle Fitness gym only a 5 minute walk. And Chong mon beach not far away and was amazing! I rented a scooter Alex the host had this ready for me when I arrived! Alex was a great host was a safe place to stay! And would definitely go back! Rooms cleaned regularly! If had any issues I could contact Alex through WhatsApp. Alex was also poorly for a week whilst I was on my stay and still went out of his way to make sure I had the perfect stay! I will definitely stay at Moon Cottage if i return to Chong Mon!

One of our favourite places we’ve stayed since travelling for 6 months! We treated ourselves here as it was my partners birthday. The cottage is spacious, comfortable bed, good aircon, hot shower, and so nice having your own private wee jacuzzi, which is cold but was nice with the heat of the sun! We also used the pool everyday during the week we stayed and had it all to ourselves every day! The owner, Alex, was so lovely and helpful with lots of recommendations and advice. I arranged with him to decorate the room for my partners birthday and his staff did an incredible job, as-well as he kindly organised getting a cake and candles too! Can rent a bike here aswell, although there are restaurants, bars, and massage shops only a few minutes walk away. Truly a wonderful time and would love to return here one day.

It was perfect. What's not to like? You have your own garden with furniture and outdoor cooking facilities. The property is detached. It had air conditioning plus a ceiling fan. It is in a very safe neighbourhood. There are a number of Muay Thai gyms very close by.

The pool was lovely, and so was the accommodation. It was well-equipped and very spacious. The local beach was excellent and is a short walk from Moon Cottage. There are also plenty of good restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Alex is a fantastic host. Nothing is too much trouble. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great holiday. I can't recommend the property highly enough. We would definitely stay here again.

It would be nice to have a little step in the shower so that the whole floor does not get flooded every time you have a shower. I know it is low season now, but the pool looked very uninviting. There were no sun loungers or chairs, and everything looked very bare. Finally, the owners might want to add some basic power back up. There was a long power cut due to some external transformer failure which left us without aircon, shower and toilet for almost 8 hours.

Good size room with everything you need. we loved the Jacuzzi outside. It gave us a chance to cool off in the crazy Samui heat. The bed was comfortable enough and even though the Aircon has seen better days, we were provided an additional fan to keep us cool. Overall, the accommodation was good value and just a few steps away from one of the nicest beaches in Samui. Alex and his partner could not do enough for us. He was extremely helpful and friendly. It is rare to encounter such a good host.
