The first room we were allocated was absolutely awful. It have a tv that was dated back to the 80’s. No flat screen! The shower was also so awful, only covered by a plastic curtain, and the tiles were filthy! We asked for an upgraded room, but they couldn’t facilitate us for two days. We then moved to a much nicer room overlooking the pool. We were charged for the updated room, but with a small discount per night. In total we stayed 7 nights. The breakfast wasn’t very good.

The grounds , the pool and the fact that it is on the beach is exceptional.

We didn't like the shower as it didn't drain away properly. We also didn't like the fact that people reserved sun beds and left them for most of the day, which left a lot of people that wanted to sit at the pool nowhere to sit.

The bungalow with pool view was very noisy. You could hear everything from the room next door. Other guests put their towel on sun beds without using them for hours.

In standard room no tea/coffee or many sockets in room. Very noisy if staying on road side room. Have to get up at crack of dawn to get a sunbed! Very territorial around pool.

Guests reserving all the pool chairs every single day….for the entire day! I have no idea why anyone would consider this acceptable behaviour. I think the resort needs to implement some rules. If you are not sitting in a pool chair … it does not belong to you. Our entire stay we had nowhere to sit but the bar area. Luckily we are beach people! The staff is 10/10, the beach is great, the beds are comfy.

We think the food was great. Good breakfast for us. Yogurt muesli fruit eggs toast and we are happy.

Loungers really need cushions. People taking much needed bean bag seats to pad chairs for comfort. Shower design leaves entire bathroom floor soaking but this is not unusual in islands.

We were very disappointed with the bathroom. The shower was a basic wall attachment and the water pressure was weak.

The pool was nice, the gardens very colourful and well maintained. The housekeeping staff were excellent, Restaurant staff were very friendly. Proximity to the beach was a big plus.

Cockroach in the bathroom (however, like in many other ground floor rooms in comparable hotels / resorts on Ko Lanta and Thailand). Property in need of refurb, again, like many other in Thailand.

We only stayed one night as a stopover so did not see much of the hotel or use any of the facilities, pool etc. so cannot comment on any dislikes!

The breakfast was poor, compared with some amazing hotel breakfasts we've had in Thailand. Cheap juice, they regularly ran out of items, no butter only margarine. Overcooked eggs. I would advise anyone to book without breakfast as about 100 yards up the beach is the fab German Bakery which has a comprehensive menu and excellent food. Another bugbear was the seemingly universal habit of guests hogging a sunbed with a towel then disappearing for hours. It's just not on and spoilt our few days as often it was impossible to sit by the pool. The pool itself was excellent for swimming.

We love the location right on Klong Dao beach, with the beautiful swimming pool. We liked our poolside room which had fresh bedding and towels each day and was kept spotlessly clean by our happy smiley housekeepers. The bed was comfortable and we slept well every night. We loved the terrace outside our room. with its two garden chairs and table, and importantly for us was in the shade all day. It was very hot when we stayed, 35C feels like 38C so we needed shade.

The interior of the rooms is very old and the shower a bit inconvenient. The AC is very old and loud. The prices of the hotel bar restaurant are higher than the ones of the neighbouring locations but the quality is not better.

Overall the hotel was very clean and well kept. The location is good and the beach is very nice for swimming.

Friendly staff, decent rooms with basic amenities and relatively clean, nice pool area, directly at a beach with a few nice bars/restaurants (but nothing too loud or noisy), right next to cannabis shop, 1-minute walk to 7eleven.

The villa is right on the front so not too private. Didn’t bother us too much though.

The villa was a lovely size with comfortable bed. The pool and beach location was fab. Bus the lady waitress was extremely friendly and lovely. For that reason alone I would come back again. Massage was also great.

Breakfast was not well managed and you had to constantly ask for things to be refilled that were empty. Overpriced compared to other places in the area.
