Beautiful centrally-located property, spacious clean and very comfortable room, exceptionally warm-hearted hospitality, so friendly and caring and helpful. We had a wonderful stay here, highly recommended!

Very friendly owners, spacious and clean room with good AC, quiet location at walking distance to the city center

Great stay in quiet neighborhood while close to markets and restaurants. The room has seating as well as A/C, hot water and very spacious. At the entry is a large covered area to relax…and if you are lucky the owner will play music as she is very talented! This was one of our favorite stays due to the owners and the layout. Very welcoming and helpful. We planned a tour through the owners and had a wonderful time. Chiang Rai is so peaceful!

For Americans the beds are quite hard, but like most others SE Asia, so really not a big deal.

Great location - very close to the bus station for easy arrival/departure. Generous supply of drinking water provided. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was served promptly. Wifi strength was perfectly good enough for video calls and remote desktop applications.

The hosts were really welcoming & friendly. We had a large room with double bed, sofa, fridge (with lots of water, kettle & coffee, air con and a bathroom/shower. The courtyard was a lovely place to enjoy breakfast. The central location was perfect and being down a side street meant it was quiet. At the end of our stay we were taken to the airport by the host.

We loved the Basn Khunsri guesthouse.

As soon as you walk into the property you will feel relaxed! Peaceful music playing and a water feature in the centre on the entrance. The room was lovely and the bathroom was especially a highlight. Breakfast was simple with bread, eggs, bananas and jam but exactly what was needed. It was only a short walk from the bus station and night market but very quiet at night. The owner also helped us to hire a scooter and it arrived in less than 5 mins!

The only down side was how hard the mattress was (I know this is common in SE Asia but this one was particularly hard). We only stayed one night so didn’t bother us too much but may be worth adding a mattress topper!

The location is very good close to everything but still quiet. The room spacious and spotlessly clean. There is a full size fridge in the room with plenty of water. The bathroom is big we always had hot water. The owner is very friendly. The atmosphere is very pleasant there. Very good value for money.

This guesthouse is super spacious, very clean, and well furnished. Extremely peaceful. The hosts are very sweet and helpful. They found a driver taking us to the mountains for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

The best choice we ever made was to spend a month with Bea and Dan. It was even nicer than being home, since we had no housekeeping to do:) Bea and Dan helped us with everything, ideas, drivers, services. The room is large, comfortable, well and tastefully furnished. And we had our own fridge, kettle, etc. The courtyard is calm, clean, with many welcoming sitting corners to choose from. The location is a quiet soi walking distance to and from almost everywhere in Chiang Rai. I can't really find enough good things to say about Baan Khunsri!

To really nitpick, I was cold in the shower room the minute I turned off the water. Outside air comes in from part of the window, and the ventilation fan is quite strong - and connected to the light! So I just showered in the dark :)

Very friendly welcoming hosts. The bedroom was very big and decorated nicely. The bed was very big and firm but comfortable. The hosts provide a lot of amenities in the room. Breakfast was simple eggs and toast in a very nice peaceful courtyard. The hosts also arranged for a driver to take us to Phu Chi Fa and collect us two days later. The driver was called Aroon and he was very friendly and spoke excellent English. I cannot recommend these hosts and this place highly enough!

The apartments are in a perfect location—close to the bus station and night market, making it easy to explore the city. We were warmly welcomed by the host, who led us through a charming covered courtyard with flowers and a fountain. The room was even better than in the photos—well-designed and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed and more. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning was set up so it didn’t blow directly on the head. The room also had a fridge, a kettle, and tea-making essentials. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was convenient, stocked with shampoo and toiletries. A delightful surprise was the breakfast in the courtyard by the fountain—soft music, tea, coffee, fruit, toast, jams, and freshly cooked eggs with vegetables, prepared individually for each guest. All of this was offered with a smile and at no extra charge. Thank you to the wonderful staff! We loved our stay and would have gladly stayed longer.

Great location, large room, nice oasis space, friendly and helpful hosts.

The location of this hotel was perfect, bus station, restaurants and shops just around the corner. Breakfast was great, bread, omelette, fruits and coffee. The staff was very warm, welcoming and always helped me. They let me even warm my takeaway pizza in their microwave. The rooms are spotless, new and clean. Would come back again!

The hosts were so sweet and caring about all of the details. They played their musical instruments when asked about them and overall took care of any of our requests.

We wanted to never leave this place.. it is amazing. The host is the kindest and the most helpful person we have ever seen. We loved everything: delicious breakfast, big and comfy room, really nice terrace. The location is very very good. The room is equipped with everything you need and more. Thank you for having us and for making our first stay in thailand so special! See you next time!:)

We really liked the location of the guesthouse (5 min walk from the bus station) and the friendliness of the hosts. We got free breakfast and we could stay a little longer after check-out until we got picked up by our shuttle. The room was super big with a lot of possibilities to put our stuff and relax on the sofa. We had a big TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime. We had a great stay!

Dang and Bee were exceptional hosts, ❤️very kind and helpful. This is the Best place we have stayed in the north of Thailand. Very peaceful hotel, in the perfect location. We were so impressed we had to stay an extra night. 🤗 Rooms were very clean, great facilities in room and comfortable with very fast WiFi. Breakfast eggs were scrumptious tasty 😋

This place was extremely comfortable, clean, and peaceful. All the furniture looks very beautiful and the room was very big & nice. Super cozy bed. Perfect place to rest! Everything little detail was perfect✨ and the owners are very nice & sweet, the energy of the property was very peaceful and zen. My favourite place I stayed in Thailand!
