Lovely traditional Thai Bangalore right in the middle of old town. Great location to explore the old town by foot. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Location isn’t ideal if you need to use the BTS or Metro to get beyond the old Town.

Beautifully restored 19th century traditional Thai home and very well appointed. The manager was wonderful - very helpful and pleasant. Relatively close proximity to major sites.

Lovely room, nice quiet getaway in a busy area of Bangkok. Lots of things within walking distance. Owner was kind and helpful.

Bathroom was an 'open' style so it was very hot and humid in there.

I had a very good stay at Baan Nappawong. Although it is located next to a large and busy street, the surroundings are surprisingly quiet, and the hotel feels like an oasis in the bustling center of Bangkok. The building is beautiful, and the room was nice. However, since the house is old, you can hear other guests walking above you or talking in the lobby quite well (my room was next to the lobby). Despite this, the stay was enjoyable and I would recommend this hotel. The host was very kind and helpful, offering great recommendations for local spots, restaurants, and cafés nearby. The location is excellent for visiting Bangkok’s must-see temples and the Grand Palace in the Old Town. Most of these attractions are within a 20-minute walk.

This was our first stay in southeast asia, and we couldn't have been happier with it. Located in a beautiful restored historic home tucked away on an alley, this was a peaceful place to recharge from jet lag and then from busy days of exploring Bangkok. Walking distance (around 20 minutes) to the river and the water ferry that stops at some of the major sites. Hotel staff is warm and helpful--there are some great restaurants right nearby. Highly recommended!

The shower was a bit funky--hardware was broken so it sprayed at an odd angle. Hopefully that's been fixed by now.

The hotel was super nice as well as the staff, they had just a small technical problem with the warm water: There was no warm water in the shower (due to a technical problem the last night of our stay). Considering that it was 30 degrees outside and the cold water is not really cold, it was still ok. We loved the atmosphere and the super calm area. It was so nice to spend a few nights in a traditional Thai house.

A beautiful room in a wonderful house. We would have loved to stay longer. As described it‘s a traditional Thai house which means wooden floors that are really comfortable to walk on barefoot. The small street is quiet and peaceful. You can walk easily to Wat Saket, to Lohat Praset and many other beautiful places. The recommendations for places to eat where very good. The housekeeper is very friendly, competent and thoughtful.

Amazing experience in the middle of Bangkok! We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation. Staying in a traditional Thai House was not on our list at first, but we we're lucky enough to book it and we don't regret it at all! Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, room was comfortable and the overall experience was just top notch! I recommend it!

    Stylish and great location

Sound does travel in the building, but that’s the nature of having lovely wooden floors etc.
