Ban Mai Vintage really exceeded our expectations. The place was like a living museum with endless collections of practically everything you can imagine from various countries. The coffee shop and restaurant were both located right next to a river/stream, which provided an amazing ambience. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was very good and hotel guests get 10% off. Breakfast was also nice. Our room also had the view of the same river. The photos do no justice to how special the place was! Highly recommended!

It's like stepping into someone else's fever dream. Endless antiques from all over the world make this one of the world's most unique places to stay. I'm going to think about this place for a long time.

Amazing hotel with so many vintage items to view Staff were exceptional including offering to take me to the local gp when I needed medication. Nothing was too much trouble

Room was a little too dark and bed a little too firm But loved the feel if the place and watching the little freshwater croc swimming up the river each morning

The rustic look of the place. I loved the room just located besides the river. It seems that we are the only room guests due to the low peak season and the whole place is quiet. The surrounding brought a lot of excitement.

Uneven floors, my wife sprained her ankle while she tried to approach the bridge. Reception counter is not very obvious upon arriving at the venue.

This is one of my favourite stays! Such a quirky place - the hotel is a maze with something different round each corner. The photos don't do the rooms justice. Staff very friendly - don't speak much English but better than my Thai and we got by fine.

Restaurant shut early and hotel bar not open - we just got a few beers from 7-11 up the road and had them in the little sitting room which overlooked the river.

A small spread. However, the menu changes everyday.

A little far from places for sight-seeing.

The whole property is very unique, so much to explore and the pool was lovely.

The staff at the front desk not speaking any English was a little bit challenging. They gave us a number for a local taxi company and thankfully they were able to organise all our tours for us.

Amazing use of the space! You could spend hours wandering around! There's so much stuff to see and all very interesting. The bridge over to the restaurant/breakfast area was great! Not many options for breakfast but it was very tasty and filling. We ate at the restaurant one evening and the food was great, also very reasonably priced. Our room was next to the river with the biggest balcony we've ever had! Air-conditioning was great, bed was comfy and the room clean although a little dark. That would be down to the shade of the trees. It really feels like you're in the jungle!

Pak Chong isn't a tourist town. We used it for a base for a jungle trek so the only thing of note it's close to is the night market. Doesn't seem fair to mark it down for location but that's the only minus. If we return we will definitely stay here again.

It's a fairytale setting, impossible to describe. No street noise, only birds and the sound of flowing water. We loved that they had fly-screens so we could sleep with the window open. Didn't need the AC at all, the room was quite cool.

Some mosquitoes around, but that's to be expected near the water. Staff spoke rudimentary English, but enough to get by.

Such an amazing place, it's like an enormous theme park with hundreds of cabinets of curiosities, from antique dolls to 50s lunch boxes to collectible toys from the 60s and 70s. The rooms are spacious with a wonderful and large patio overlooking a stream. Morning coffee there was just blissful. Also the incredible restaurant across the hanging bridge

The transparent excuse for toilet paper

Hotel was filled with vintage Knick knacks and even had billard and pinball game machines for guests to play. Room was comfortable and spacious, breakfast spread was simple but we really enjoyed the egg dish.

There was a balcony which was a nice area but be careful of mosquitoes. Some spiderwebs were also visible in common areas where it’s less used.
