Very near to Nam Tok station. It is possible to hire a bike for 350 baht to visit Hellfire pass, the waterfall or the national park. There is a resturant nearby for good breakfasts and dinners. The room is spacious, and free coffee is provided for the morning

Nothing! It offered me everything I wanted. Peace, nature, privacy, walks. I only wished i had stayed longer so that I could have tried the therapeutic water bath up further north along the main road. Not a dislike, but reminder to bring enough cash! No ATM, banks or credit card facilities around here.

Set near a remote village and last train stop on the Kanchanaburi line, this was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. The owners, Pat, her husband were kind, helpful and unobtrusive. What I liked: #Welcome water in GLASS bottles (reusable, not be contributing to the huge plastic waste problem). # Owners have 16 much loved and well-behaved dogs! They were quiet and never barked, except afew yaps when I first arrived. # Cottage was nestled at the back of the main house, surrounded by a creek and bush land at the foothills of the jungle. # The roosters, the sounds of nature, quiet. #Pat picked me up and dropped me back to the train station and even offered to drop me off at 0500 in the morning, gave me an umbrella to use. # Close walk to the Sai Yok Noi waterfall via road or train track # Hot water in the shower!!

It was a nice stay! I've got everything I needed. Close to the waterfall. You can rent a moto (bit more expensive than elsewhere in Thailand though) and in 50min you're in the Erawan National Park. It was clean, the bed was comfortable. Note: it gets extremely hot inside if you take the room with no AC because the doors and windows are made out of glass and even the fan doesn't do its job. You're also right in the nature so you will hear nature sounds, like squirrels, dogs, maybe see a spider or two :)

Many dogs around the whole town of Nam Dok so it’s difficult to go out at night.

Very beautiful forest. Quiet and serene. Can ponder on your life quietly here. And surprisingly no mosquitos.

I like walking so I liked everything.

Such a nice relaxing place. I stayed an extra 5 days! The owners are so hospitable and kind. The breakfast was great. I also loved the dogs. It's a bit more difficult to get around town but once you know the bus and train taxi options there's quite a bit to see in the area. I will be back. ❤️

Very rustic homestay in owners backyard. Beautiful property with a very welcoming friendly family. Mosquito nets above the bed were necessary and glad to have them. Home cooked breakfast brought right to our room was DELICIOUS and way to much food! Property has lots of dogs but they are friendly and stayed by the house not the bungalows :) Easy walk to waterfalls and train station from property.

The bathroom floor's concrete slab, which is embedded with stones, is completely flat, causing water from showers to pool on the surface. This is inconvenient when wearing socks and makes using the toilet challenging in the dark. However, it could be easily fixed if the owners were to incorporate some grooves into the slab to facilitate drainage.

We encountered some difficulty finding the right access point, as there are no signs directing visitors from the train station. To approach from the southwest, you’ll need to cross the railway at least once. Alternatively, if you're comfortable, you can take a shortcut by walking along the railway itself, crossing a small unguarded bridge that is visible from the resort’s driveway. At first glance, the resort might seem a bit underwhelming due to its limited infrastructure, but the atmosphere more than compensates. We stayed for two nights, enjoying the serene environment with plants, lizards, birds, and squirrels often playing in the yard and even on top of our air-conditioned hut. The owners were warm and welcoming, and the breakfast, reserved in advance and served on the veranda, was delicious. Within easy walking distance of the resort are several attractions: Nam Tok Centrum, the Sai Yok Noi waterfall (be sure to visit the café at the top of the waterfall), and a small shrine carved into the mountainside, hidden in the jungle just above the resort. Reaching the shrine requires an adventurous spirit and sturdy shoes, as the path is steep and partially collapsed—perfect for those with an "Indiana Jones" mindset!

    Let's not nitpick here. ;)

Perfect location relative to the train station and the waterfalls. Take the last train to NamTok, enjoy the sunset during your trip, and arrive at the endpoint. It's only a small hike to the house. Good scooter rental on site; rent one the next day and go see what's out there! The host was very helpful and informative.

Great AC, comfortable bed, lovely cabins, place to sit outside the cabin, surrounded by green grass and small streams. No mosquitoes in the room, close to Hellfire Pass owner offered to take us for an additional charge and waited to take us back. Restaurants near by and a short walk to a small waterfall. Beautiful place There were a few dogs at the property that bark on your arrival but once they had a sniff they were happy to have you there.

We accidentally booked the hours without aircondition but could move without problem.

Wonderful garden with 4 quaint little huts. The beds are comfortable and the hosts make sure you have everything you need. The breakfast was delicious. It was prepared in the garden allowing us to watch butterflies and squirrels chasing each other through the trees. The Saiyok Noi falls and restaurants are just around the corner. A great place the enjoy the amazing countryside.

    Nothing really, no nightlife

Location was great. Bordering the jungle. Very kind host. Breakfast in the room. Great trips hosted by the owner (Kai), cheaper than anywhere else. Nice starting point for various excursions. Town is very quiet and authentic. You can eat traditional Thai on the side of the through road (bring google translate) By the way if you go to Erwan waterfalls and you want to swim you are obliged to use a swimming vest EXCEPT ON LEVEL 7. The highest and best level.
