How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewA true oasis of nature with a rooftop pool surrounded by beautifully kept plants. The hotel has its own organic lettuce plantation, and you can even buy fresh, ready made salad at the reception along with other essentials. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. Shops and salons are just a short walk away, which made our stay even more convenient

Staff needs to be more smily and welcoming. The location is bad (no train near the place - hard to go places), so you’ll have to take the bus or grab/taxi. The bed needs to be replaced with more comfortable bed (they have the spring beds which are hard) it’s like you’re sleeping on the ground.

Verified reviewThe hotel is quiet, clean and nice. The view from the swimming pool on the roof is something. The lady who cleaned my room is friendly and nice.
The location. The people at the reception should try to put on a little smile at least and be friendlier. The AC was too loud. I didn't get the room I actually booked, but the one I got wasn't totally bad. It was more or less the same except for the view.

Verified reviewI enjoyed my stay at the hotel — beautiful view, nice atmosphere, and the included meals were convenient. Overall, I was satisfied. However, there were a lot of ants in the room, and the receptionist wasn’t always friendly when I asked for help. I hope this can be improved in the future. Thank you for the stay!

Verified reviewThe rooftop pool, the lift, the friendly staff. Accessibility to food, 7-11 and Pinsinchai Muay Thai Camp, huge bed and room and working smart TV. Grab service available for trips out for sightseeing. Being further out from the busy city meant a more laid back vibe amazing coffee shops around, City Park and absolutely amazing community members where being a solo traveler I never felt alone. Massages and food etc are also at a local price.
Just the traffic on the way back from the city sometimes. Grab drivers are so patient with it tho. Public Transport isn't a great option. Best to go to Chutachak or Lat Phrao MRT and use it from there... Try to avoid peak hours. Morning is much better than night.

Verified reviewOur stay was actually only one night, and the pool was the best part of getting to Doeng Mueng Airport (which I thought was closer, to be honest).
The breakfast was limited to almost no variety. We paid extra to eat something we liked, and it seemed like they didn't understand much about it. The bathroom door also didn't open all the way because it was touching the toilet...

Verified reviewIt’s in a great location for what we needed. It’s not close to the downtown area of Bangkok but was close to the Muay Thai gym we were staying at. Great food very close by.
It’s a lit older than the photos show but it’s fine. Big rooms.

Verified reviewAlways someone at reception and all issues were solved quite fast. Located off the busy road so was relatively calm.
All in the room is quite old and I stayed only one week but was enough to encounter issues with the TV, the sink and the toilet. All were fixed immediately but I guess the rooms should be renovated or at least better maintained to avoid this.

Verified reviewThe hotel had big rooms and natural light. It also had a rooftop which was nice to hang out with for the sunset.
It does not look like the pictures (the photos were probably taken when the hotel had just opened, now it's old. They also seem to be taken in 0.5x zoom out, making the rooms look more spacious). I got attacked by mosquitoes at night, so be careful about leaving the doors or windows open, they don’t fully close either. The lift smelled very bad...to the point where I actually threw up one day when I was feeling a bit sick. I tried asking for a hairdryer, which was supposed to be included, but they only had one for the entire hotel, and I ended up waiting until the last day to get it. The cleaning staff weren’t very nice when we asked them to clean our room. It’s true that we would wake up a bit late, but they were still cleaning other rooms, so our request wasn’t out of context. It's also very very like very far a way, it takes 1:30h to get to the center of Bangkok, so be prepared to be in a car for a while everytime you want to do something.
