The location is perfect-Right on the ocean. The new owner was so nice and friendly. They upgraded our room and it was very nice. The food at the restaurant was good. There was a cute and friendly dog.

IrelandThe shower was very basic and in the same space as the toilet (no door/screen). Apart from that, I have no complaints from what is as described; a wooden cabin. It will never be as sealed and air conditioned as a physical building!
The welcome and the staff at Bills are 10/10. The cabins are cute to look at and more basic than I’d expected inside. There was a fridge which was great, but no kettle. However when I requested a hairdryer at reception this was provided and was brand new! The en suite is wet-room style so the shower is beside the toilet. If i had looked at photos more closely I would have known to expect this. None of this really mattered and I found Bills excellent and very peaceful for a solo stay and very very safe. The staff again are its true gem and kindness. The attached beach bar (Mamba) is right on the beach, by the pool and has well priced and tasty food and drinks. Overall I would choose to stay at Bills again. If you prefer not to walk as much you might choose nearer the Lamai Market and Main Street but I liked the quiet of being a bit outside the town.

United KingdomAnts everywhere. Non black out curtains. Walls are made of paper so can hear everything going on in room nearby. Toilet was broken. Didn’t smell nice in the toilet most of the time. Blanket was bad. Looked very dated around the resort with broken trees and debris everywhere. Most the staff were pretty nice. Location is very good. Good at tidying. For the price it was pretty good considering the location, staff, and atmosphere

Right on beach, and pool was kept very clean. Sunbeds around pool were ok. Funky bar and restaurant area, great staff were very attentive. The beds were clean and very comfortable. Fresh water provided every day. Good wi fi in rooms and all areas. Can hire a scooter. Food was excellent and good price. Great massage on site.

AustraliaI imagine at one time it was quite a lovely resort, but the place feels very tired and looks like it's slowly decaying. I had a wander around the facility and multiple cabins are clearly uninhabitable, with roofs caving in or being swallowed by jungle vines. Several old ponds are either full of dirty water or dead vegetation, which is a bit sad.
A bit removed from some of the Lamai action, so very quiet, but within 10 - 15 minutes easy enough walking distance to most things, and Makro and the Post Office very close by. Staff were pleasant, and the bar and pool areas were nice, being just off a decent part of the beach. The room l stayed in was reasonably well kept - clean and comfortable for the price.
