How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Our room was comfortable but up on the second floor and had no windows.
Well positioned on the edge of old town, easy walking distance from the old town, temples and museums. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Very good value for money. Small pool on the roof was good for hot days. Laundry adjoining the foyer made washing very easy.

Kitchen had pans but nothing to cook with (e.g. hobs or an oven) so you couldn't really cook anything if you wanted to

No windows in rooms, not all aircons effective, needs a better communal space, and a new lick of paint in places.

Not the hostels fault but our room smelt really stale and gross, the rooms were super dark and it wasn’t very social at all
The chilling area was super spacious and had a lot of amenities in the kitchen. The pool area was nice and the showers/toilets were clean and really good water pressure

We got a double room that didn’t have a window but it was a minor inconvenience since we stayed for only one night.
Good location near the old town and clean facilities. Swimming pool on a rooftop is a good bonus.

The receptionist is only from 8am-8pm. So for you to check in late need to inform them and i wait about an hour to come so it’s kinda disappointing
The location is super strategic in Phuket old town. Right behind this hostel is sunday night market. All cute cafes are walkable and you can rent bike nearby the hostel.

Be nicer if the view was not of another building however not much to complain about here.
The room is quant but comfortable and has everything you need. The top deck pool is pretty small but clean and a good spot for sunbathing. Very handy having 24h laundry connected to the hotel. Large social area also.

Convenient and super clean. The staff was extremely helpful. Absolute worth the money. I wish they had breakfast, it would’ve helped in socialising with other members.

Beds were very uncomfortable and lighting for the beds were pointless as they’ve been fitted so that they offer more light to the bed below than your actual bed. Showers weren’t warm
Location and the pool area are the two highlights of this hostel. Very much in the centre of old town Phuket Lovely social areas on the top and bottom floors too

The room is pretty small for two people
Really nice place to stay for a couple of days . The room was very clean and the sharing bathroom as well. Hostel less then 5 minutes from the center

The noise at night. It's just down to luck I suppose on whose staying at the time.
It was clean and there was a kettle, microwave and laundry facilities. It could be noisy at night though but the owner isn't responsible for this and it's down to people who don't care about others peace and quiet. Overall it's good value for money for a basic place to stay.

No window in the bedroom meant it was very dark as soon as the lights were off. There was a door to a shared balcony and our next door neighbour used it to smoke which made our room smell of cigarettes
Clean room with good sized bed and bathroom. Nice to have the pool on the roof that is open until 7pm so we got to watch the sun set in the pool

Place was very clean and there's housekeeping every day. They give you a towel. Bed is super comfy and very private even though you're in a room with other people. Location is great if you want to explore old Phuket. Staff are also very friendly. I really enjoyed my stay here and would come back. (:

The room Superior was bigger, very nice and tidy Hovewer many strict rules occured as to take off all the shoes downstairs and in the kitchen no matter you live at the upper floor- this rule I saw the first time, as well the food and drinks were forbidden in the room.

After checking out, I left my luggage at the hotel and went out, but I didn't feel safe because the luggage storage was just a place where anyone could take it without a key.
It was clean and the room was comfortable. The pool was beautiful, and it was a great place to socialize and make friends.
