Cockroaches in the bungalow. One ran over my partners foot. I saw one on floor running around and a 2nd one walking up the wall. 1st night didn’t notice them. Seen on both 2nd & 3rd night though & I just couldn’t sleep. I did not until now realise I was so freaking scared of them. Ugly f***ers! I know they are common out here & have seen them in Bangkok & Greece before. However, never seen them in my sleeping area before so think that’s what freaked me out. Bungalow is a nice size. Did not seem very clean however, would have benefited from a fridge to keep our water & beer cool. Shower also very cold but had to cope lol… The pool looked dirty & stagnant so we didn’t use. Think others thought the same as only 1 person seemed to be mad enough to use it. Maybe they duded of legionella since who knows. Staff friendly & nice, however, food not the best & service is very slow. 2 nights would have been more than enough.

Some of the staff were really friendly but quite a few weren’t at all. Tourist-jaded maybe, which is a shame as it’s so important to have nice and friendly staff!

You can arrive there just with a 4x4 car so you’re almost stuck on the beach unless you pay the taxi every time you want to go around Koh Pha-ngan. The restaurant hasn’t got a good quality. The bungalow is essential but there are some bugs.

It’s a perfect spot if you want to relax and enjoy the beautiful beach of Bottle Beach. The staff is really friendly and nice!

Food was good value but not exceptional and only two restaurants so staying for more than 3 days would get dull. Service was very slow and the plastic waste and waste in general at the rear of the site was not managed very well.

It was very secluded and great value for money. The food and drinks were also good value, which was good as there are no other options. It was nice for max 3 nights but there are only two places to eat and not much for activities but very beautiful and glad we went

Staff where unfriendly at times. They also have a tab system for the rooms which I didn’t like, I cleared it every day except for the last couple and then I noticed an extra big water on the tab. Would recommend not letting the tab build up. Also the cheaper bungalow that we stayed in had zero wifi connection

Restaurant/bar service is lacklustre but it seems the staff are working long hours so this is probably why. Some areas need some TLC but for the price paid it was fine. Pool needs a clean!

Perfect location right on Bottle Beach (especially if you book a sea view room) they don't have AC but it was worth it to stay here and enjoy the serenity, especially at sunrise.

The pool was so dirty, it looked like you'd get an infection if you swim in it. We didn't try the restaurant tho due to the reviews here. The rooms with ventilator just get super hot and the bed in there doesn't fit with the mosquito net. Just book a room with AC!

I mean - it's at the Bottle Beach, one of the best beaches. To anybody ranting here about the location: Please do your research before booking! This place is a bit remote and that's the point of it. We got a super easy upgrade to a newly renovated AC room and the receptionist was also very nice to us, thanks again! Also we were super happy about the "cold" water because it's quite hot here...

It’s not the the property but the surroundings somewhere were quit full of litter, waste near the forest.

The lack of cars, motors, not much people: please leave it in this way, don’t let more people there and don’t let cars and motors enter the place, don’t let to make a new road to reach the destination easily!

The resort isn’t accessible any other way then by boat or 4x4 car. Even by motorbike you can’t access it. Last boat taxi leave the Chaloklum beach at 5:30pm, which is highly unpleasant as it’s destroys your afternoon. You also have to pay extra for water.

The beach is beautiful and the main attraction. Unfortunately the beach is also full of waste. Everywhere plastic bottles, Flip Flops, and a lot of other stuff. Not really nice. I thank the staff for cleaning because it's a work against windmills. They clean in the morning and the next day it looks again like a dump.

I like the place. Had a bungalow directly at the beach. You can sit the whole day at your terrace or in your hangmat and chill. Not much people there because you can reach the beach only by a jeep or boat. When I was there there was heavy sea and the boats were not driving. The bungalow is simple but everything I need. No hot water but who needs hot water at a beach in the tropics. Also no AC which is also ok for me because you have always a breeze from the sea The food is ok. Iz's a typical beach bar for me. Western food not that tasty but the Noodles are nice.

Small things would make a huge difference - e.g. better lamps in the bathrooms, and some drain-filters to make sure no cockroach can slip in from the sinks. Also the rooms could use some love, e.g. we couldn‘t turn off the lights behind the bed, so they just removed the lightbulbs. The restaurant could use some better options for breakfast :)

We enjoyed the stay, but the bungalows could definitely use some updates. All in all it was a pleasant stay with a comfy enough bungalow. The best part of course is waking up to the great beach :)

Over all it was wonderful but the mattress was cheap and had a lot of springs sticking up but was a king size and the sheets were surprisingly good quality.
