It’s supposed to be an adult only resort, and yet kids under 16 swam and splashed right next to us in the lovely but small pool, and it did affect the total experience and the romantic vibes of the place. Also, the restaurant is not very vegan/veg friendly- something to consider.

Beautiful resort, great staff, it’s small so you get a VIP feeling. Good breakfast. Very nice room, and super comfortable.

The in Room Wifi can struggle at times, when you pay $700 a night you expect it to be trouble free.

I love the location and the staff the grounds are lovely and the rooms are spacious, the breakfast is lovely just needs some sparkling water on offer.

EVERYTHING! WOWWWWW this is definitely the best hotel we stayed in in Thiland. From the beginning till the end, we felt like the home part of a family. Excellent service, beautiful room to include small things which give you the feeling your are the no. 1 customer. Breakfast, candies, dry banana coffee all. Special thanks to Sime, C2, and all staff to include the general manager. We will definitely be back.

Nothing, everything was perfect

Beautiful hotel with a cozy, green territory and a very welcoming atmosphere. The service was outstanding, and the staff were exceptionally attentive and always ready to help with a smile. The beach is clean and peaceful. The breakfast was excellent — fresh and varied. We will definitely come back!

We loved our 3 nights at the Buri Rasa, it was the best place we stayed on Samui. The grounds are well kept and quiet, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the pool is lovely and the staff are really friendly. The food was great in the restaurant. Chaweng beach is also the best on the island, in my opinion.

Great location - right in the center of beautiful Chaweng beach with great view and easy access to the beach. It’s also not far from the airport. The village itself is very lovely and beautiful too with lots of greens which are very well maintained. The room is spacious and traditional. The breakfast is also very good. The staff there are very friendly and helpful. We did have a good time here and will highly recommend it.

There was a small issue with the cleaning of our room, however, we informed Mr Yoshi and swift action was taken to rectify the situation.

The hotel is located on a wonderful part of the beach with crystal clear waters. Mr. C2, the manager, and Mr. Yoshi from the front desk were both amazing and went out of their way to make sure we had a fantastic experience. Can't wait to go back.

My partner and I had a great stay. Plenty of options at breakfast and nice cocktails. Beautiful hotel, very tropical with lots of plants as you make your way through. Situated right on the beach with the addition of a swimming pool. Although this on the main road in Chaweng, it’s far enough away from the main bars so no noise issues.

Delicious breakfast every morning with heaps of variety which changed daily. The resort is a in a prime spot with the beach straight out the front. Great pool! Loungers were excellent with plenty of natural shade for those that wanted it. The road was bustling but it was very quiet in the resort. Loved it. We had a pool villa which we loved. Just a small thing. Our room had a ceiling fan which we prefer over running air con at night which we loved.

Sun lounges on beach too crammed in together, would be better spaced across the entire frontage. Disliked other guests smoking in beach lounge area, I thought this was illegal to smoke on beaches in Thailand? Bed not very comfortable, pillows especially bad.

Quaint old Thai village feel resort, great location on beach between jet ski lanes. Good breakfast choices. Lovely staff.

Lovely staff, attention to detail with nice additions e.g. turn down service, free snacks and coffee hour, coffee machine in room, fruit platter on arrival, little gifts of local lollies in the room each day etc. Breakfast had good spread of options. Central location, easy to walk to shops and restaurants.

I loved everything about Buri Rasa. The resort is located on Chaweng Beach, with a beautiful beachfront and within walking distance to nearby places. It's also very close to Haven, the community area and superstore. The atmosphere of the resort is amazing, quiet and peaceful. The resort's design is unique and includes all the necessary facilities. The room type we booked featured a traditional Thai water jar, giving you a chance to experience how Thai people used to bathe in the past. They also provide sarongs for both men and women in the bathroom. Every night, we received coconut sugar taffy as part of the turndown service, we definitely saved it for a morning treat! Each evening, the resort also hosts activities such as a martini party or a fire show. If you're looking for beach activities, you can find some on the beach near Buri Rasa. The staff and the general manager are extremely friendly and helpful. They provided excellent service with big smiles and joyful energy every time we saw them. Buri Rasa is definitely perfect for those seeking a private and relaxing vacation.

A place to replenish your beach towels would have been great. I am sure you could ask but not immediately obvious.

Breakfast was good - they had a good egg selection so you could choose eg, omelette or eggs Benedict etc.
