Partiamo da una premessa: io e il mio ragazzo avevamo organizzato un viaggio di 10 giorni a Ko Samui, Ko Pangan e, infine, Ko Tao. Tra gli hotel prenotati, quello a Ko Tao era la nostra più grande aspettativa, considerando valutazioni, posizione, foto e prezzo. Per dare un’idea più chiara, appena giunti al porto di Ko Tao, abbiamo dovuto attendere la navetta dell’hotel che ha fatto ritardo e abbiamo lasciato il porto di Ko Tao dopo più di mezz’ora a porto ormai deserto in quanto tutti gli altri autisti dei diversi resort erano partiti. La vista è mozzafiato. Sei immerso nella natura e hai Shark Bay proprio di fronte. Le ville sono sistemazioni moderne, fornite di tutto l’occorrente necessario. Purtroppo non è stato esattamente il caso della villa P1 che avevamo prenotato. L’edificio non è allo stesso livello delle foto, ha una vista molto timida sul mare e si trova infatti accanto alla reception (con rumori annessi e connessi dalle prima luci dell’alba) con vista sulla strada. Appena entrati, il soffitto era pieno di ragnatele (non i classici gechi o altri animaletti che si trovano in questi ambienti, parliamo proprio di un soffitto sporco). Dopo un paio di giorni abbiamo trovato anche escrementi di geco nella stanza, ma in quel caso lo staff ci ha proposto un upgrade gratuito alla Villa C16B, gesto che abbiamo apprezzato. Per quanto riguarda la villa C16B, la stessa ha una vista stupenda su SharkBay, tuttavia sappiate che è molto rumorosa a causa di un generatore e dei lavori in corso per la costruzione di nuove ville, e considerata la situazione di partenza abbiamo accettato la nuova soluzione nonostante fossimo stati avvisati del rumore presente nella nuova sistemazione. Pur essendo la vista stupenda, sappiate che per raggiungere l’hotel la strada è spaventosa. Non solo delle salite ripidissime, ma anche completamente dissestate, il che rende il viaggio e in generale gli spostamenti dall’hotel alle altre zone dell’isola molto difficoltosi.

La struttura è semplicemente incantevole, curata nei minimi dettagli e dotata di ogni comfort. La vista è mozzafiato, un vero angolo di paradiso dove rilassarsi e godere della bellezza del paesaggio. Il personale è stato eccezionale: professionale, disponibile e sempre attento a ogni esigenza, facendoci sentire coccolati dal primo all’ultimo giorno. La pulizia impeccabile e gli ambienti eleganti hanno reso l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Unico aspetto da tenere in considerazione: le strade per raggiungere la villa sono piuttosto tortuose, quindi consiglio di prestare attenzione durante il tragitto. Tuttavia, una volta arrivati, ogni curva percorsa sarà ripagata dalla bellezza e dalla serenità del posto. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca una vacanza all’insegna del relax e dell’eleganza!

Non ha un ristorante incluso, la strada per arrivare é tortuosa e necessita o di motorino o jeep. Bagno non super. Consiglio doccia esterna per piscina

Ho particolarmente apprezzato i panorami mozzafiato, la tranquillità della posizione, lontana dalla confusione di Sairee, la struttura delle ville attrezzate con tutto quello che può servire, dalle maschere da snorkelling ai menu di ristoranti e bar per il delivery, le navette da e per il porto, l’estrema gentilezza dello staff sempre pronto ad anticipare i tuoi desideri e a gestire eventuali problemi: un servizio a 5 stelle! Leggendo le recensioni ero un po’ preoccupata per la strada che porta a Cape Shark che era stata descritta come impervia e pericolosa. Noi abbiamo noleggiato lo scooter e non abbiamo trovato difficoltà: è vero che ci sono salite e discese ripide ma la strada è asfaltata e in buone condizioni, quindi fattibilissima se si è abituati alle due ruote.

Recensione verificataLocation pazzesca con vista meravigliosa dalla piscina privata sulla spiaggia sottostante. Opzione di cibo in camera e a domicilio veramente funzionale. Navetta gratuita per le varie spiaggie. Noi non abbiamo noleggiato lo scooter perché per arrivare all'hotel la strada è troppo ripida e sconnessa.

È necessario spostarsi con taxi, salite per motorini molto ripide, ma c’è chi lo faceva!

L’unico punto debole è il fatto che per raggiungere altri punti dell’isola in scooter è necessario affrontare una strada non proprio alla portata di chiunque.
