How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

They’ll keep the AC remote when you arrive unless you pay an extra 300 baht per day! For that price, you could find something better. Also, there are no fly screens on the windows, so you're basically forced to pay extra for the AC if you want to keep insects out while you sleep.
Great location, close to many restaurants, and the kitchenette is convenient for preparing a simple breakfast.

Our room was quite hot with no aircon but we were offered to upgrade so no fault of the hostel, we were just on a backpacking budget lol
Nice quiet location, but not far from everything you need! Bike rental shop close to the hostel, also can rent from the hostel, helped us book a taxi to the pier at the end of our stay Staff were lovely and helpful.

i booked one day to early, yes it was my fault, it was not possible to make a correction, so we lost one day, there should be an other solution for such happenings, the name of the guesthouse in booking . com and the reality are not same, even the place is wrong

A little far from the city but easy if you rent a moped. Loud rooster will wake you up in the morning, but it was kind of a fun part of the experience

The ceiling of the bathroom, the sink and also parts of the ceiling in the bedroom were moldy. The wifi didn't work in our room. When we booked the room we didn't know that you have to pay 400 baht extra per night if you want an AC. Which is definitely necessary!
The location was good, we were able to walk to many different restaurants, shops and some beaches and didn't need a scooter during our stay. The lady at the place was really nice. :)

The sink did not drain well and it got quite hot in the room. Also the ants were a bit relentless with our bin
Nice quiet area, and a big spacious room with a balcony. Also down the dirt road and across the main road is a little restaurant called the corner, food and staff where amazing there 🙏🏽 The room was clean and comfortable

We had a ground floor room and had to keep the curtains closed as the communal kitchen was right outside.
Nice big room with private outside terrace. Nice location if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle but still easy to walk to with nice restaurants close by.

The room was alittle hot but I was warned by the staff that it was the hottest room in the buidling. Possibly more fans could have helped but otherwise the room was alright
Location was alittle hard to access via bike but not too far a walk from the mainroad. Aukotan (a grocery shop) is right beside the entrance to the main road too.

When you’ll have a shower, you will need a fins to go to the toilet. Water will stay there for hours. Don’t go just for a fan in room, pay for AC otherwaise you can’t sleep at all.

No AC, but it was our choice. You can pay more and get it. Just two little bottles of free water.
Quiet spot but still pretty close to everything. Big room with fridge and closet. We had a little balcony with a table and chairs.

Smelt a little stale and WiFi was basically non-existent
Really liked it here, clean and comfy room with a nice balcony. The fridge and aircon were great! Great scooter rental for 200bht opposite and good price food options close walk away. Closest beach is great for snorkelling and usually the most sheltered

We liked the fact that we could make our own breakfast in a (truly) basic kitchen. We were greeted well and accommodated quickly as we came very early from the night ferry, which was very nice. The location is not in the centre, but there were plenty of local restaurants nearby and you could rent motorbikes nearby to get around the island.
