It could do with some sprucing up, but was overall a very nice place to stay.

Rambling old hostel organised around a swimming pool which the kids liked. Basic rooms, nice sitting area, OK food. For our family of three not so demanding adults and three bouncy kids exactly what we needed.

Cute hotel, nice pool, comfy bed. Great food freshly cooked and well priced. Food/drink from 7am til 9pm, a wide range of items for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Well stocked fridge for cold drinks and beers. Owners very kind and friendly. Cheap and cheerful. Would stay again for the price

Unfortunately, it is already clear that the building is outdated and could definitely use some renovation. The price is excellent, but the quality even within this price is already more lame. The owners are also getting on in years and forget some things quite often, but that's understandable. It would definitely need some change though.

The food was delicious. The pool was a nice bonus. Arrival and departure very easy.

Walls are pretty thin so could hear neighbours.

Very good value for money. The pool is lovely, very cold and deep. We stayed here one night before the slow boat and it was very cheap for what we got.

The bed for me wasn't very comfortable and the room is a lil bit dark. It's a simple place but always can improve :)

The staff were great the food was lovely pool nice and cool but no means of getting out via ladders.saw an oldish gentleman really struggle to get out. The rooms had no fridge no TV really outdatedand grotty. Not a family kind of place more backpackers and young tourists on a budget. Location not good either need to use Taxi motorbike to get to bars and restaurants it's a 4/10 from me.

The walls were quite thin, so if you were staying near the pool you’d get woken up by kids screaming early in the morning, and the chairs outside your room taken by other users.

The property had very kind and friendly staff that worked very hard and long hours to give everyone a nice holiday. The pool area was nice and the pool itself lovely. The food was good, with a big menu to choose from. The accom offered lots of tours to book through them. It was about a 15 min walk to the main streets. It was good value for money.

We are a family of 4 and stayed in the family room. The hosts we super helpful and nice. The room was perfect for our needs and the swimming pool was a lovely treat for the kids. The social space is really nicely set out for meeting and chatting with people. There are one or two places to eat in walking distance (after lots of temple walking for the kids we needed food to be close). Otherwise, the night market was a short taxi away.

There was a machine near the wall of my room which was making noise from time to time. The bathroom needs some improvements.

The room was ok, the bed was clean. They have a good and cheap restaurant and you can book tours from reception.

Acoustics a bit poor. But well worth the value.

Very good. First floor, good bed, new matresses. There’d unfortunaltely been a seruois flood in the whole of Chiang Rai, water up to 120 plus mud from the river 2 months ago, so some of the glory needs a bit of polishing still. Nice set up? Some wooden sculptef furniture a bit of art n so on. Legenday, almost 30 years.

It can be a bit noisy as most of the rooms are facing the pool and dining area where people socialise. Facilities are a bit tired, and there were no soap, shampoo or toilet paper.

Very helpful and flexible staff. Great location, just a 10 minutes walk from the market and centre of town. There is a swimming pool that one can use. The staff helps organising half-day or full day tours. One rent a moped or bike. The breakfast, lunch and dinner available on site and is very good quality. Beds are comfortable.

The hosts! This couple is absolutely lovely and so helpful. They both spoke great English which was helpful for us. They have a restaurant and honestly made us some of our favorite meals in Thailand so far! They were able to make us dishes that were vegan, which is not always easy here. Definitely try their Khao Soi! The rooms were simple and modest, but the shower water got so warm which was a luxury. We didn’t get to use the swimming pool because it was winter when we came and pretty cold. But beautiful pool and lots of access to sunshine!
