Reviews of Vibes Samui Hostel and Cafe'

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We were served lemon iced tea on arrival. The host helped us to book a taxi and let us use the pool table for free. Room was perfect and clean.

Bit of a walk from the main street but for the price it is reasonable.

The door to the bathroom doesn’t even close properly so in a room of 8 people, all night there is in and out. It doesn’t feel like the hostel is cared for as minor comfort could be upgraded such as curtains on the beds or simply adding small details.

I liked the location and they provide towels.. that’s great. Nice staff.

Honestly i didn’t like much of it. No privacy curtains, drains clogged all the time, very dirty bathroom. Doors sound super loud that when someone goes out it wakes up everyone.. i can’t really recommend this hostel.

Quite expensive for a sharing room, but it was the only option close to the airport in the last minute. The sink and the shower were clogged. Room full of mosquitoes.

Staff were so lovely, beds are spacious and comfy. Facilities were clean. 5 minutes from the beach

Mattresses comfortable. Everyone at reception was very kind, as was the man.

Plugs didn't work and no shelf to put your phone if you're on top bunk. Couldn't charge my phone and have it near me at night. Shower didn't work, was stuck on maximum cold. Sink leaked very badly as well, even after a plumber came. No curtains at all, least private hostel I've stayed at - Felt like an army barracks. Slept on the top bunk and was basically staring at the people next to me as i slept. Stairs were very steep and very small, also at a downward incline. Ceiling leaked and clothes got wet. Worst of all, in the mornings the cleaners would open the door, turn the lights on in the rooms, and speak very loudly through the echoey halls. Everyone in the dorm was visibly annoyed at this but they didn't seem to notice. If there was at least curtains on the beds the lights wouldn't have been as bad, but they were also practically shouting at each other which was the more annoying of the two. I understand they have a job to do, but going forward please be considerate that if you see a dorm full of people sleeping at 10am in the morning, it might be polite to keep the door shut if you don't intend to enter, and speak at a lower volume rather than trying to let the whole hostel hear your conversation.

Comfy beds, big, clean rooms and bathroom, good AC. I was only there en route to Samui International so didn't spend much time at hostel. Close to airport.

It is on a busy main road, but walking distance to eateries, beach, nightlife. Chill area is next to main road (although there may be another one I didn't see...?)

The sheets were dirty, the water stream in both the shower & the sink weren’t working, the stuff were a bit unwelcoming, one of the lockers didn’t locked, the room smelled really bad

My stay at Chill Inn Chaweng Beach was fantastic! The accommodation was top-notch with incredibly comfortable beds and pillows. The staff were polite and accommodating, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. Additionally, its convenient location near the center of Chaweng Beach made it easy to explore the area. I highly recommend Chill Inn for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
