The electricity dropped out one morning, which stopped everything (including showers and toilet flushing), but I think the power outage was out of the control of the hostel.

Beds were comfy, air-conditioned rooms were amazing. Overall, an amazing stay. Great value for money

Bathrooms in shared rooms could use a bit of an upgrade and a more thorough clean. Beds were very firm, but still had a good sleep!

Had a great experience staying at Closca. It has such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, the staff are so lovely and always ready to help with anything. The location is good; it’s not right in the busiest part of town, but still close to everything you need, however I would highly recommend to rent a scooter! Any attractions, beaches or the main strip are far. The hostel itself is very quiet, clean and well-kept. Overall great experience, great value for money - I would recommend!

I am not comfortable on a scooter, so it is a fairly decent walking distance to more food options. It is doable, but be aware. For the dive shops nearby, it is perfect location.

I stayed in one of the private rooms and it was lovely. Big comfy bed, small couch and fridge, good WiFi, and a nice (shared) balcony. The staff was lovely and the breakfast was small but just enough. Can recommend!

The stairs are very very steep The flush kept stopping to work in our room The shower drain should be more close to the water or we should have something to bring the water there because then the shower stays wet all day but we still have to go to the bathroom or access the sink Also the bed was TERRIBLE really really hard and you could feel every piece of metal But even with all of the above I would recommend it

I absolutely loved the rooftop, THE CLEANLINESS perfect the wifi was very fast, the location was absolutely perfect everything was well maintenez and our room were cleaned every day also the laundry service very fast and again perfect

Great spot away from the busy side of the island but within a couple minutes walk to some of the best food I’ve eaten. Super clean, nice hang out area, free breakfast (win) and excellent staff

It's a beautiful hostel with lovely common areas and nice private rooms. We only stayed for two nights, but I'd definitely stay longer here. Love it!

mattresses could be softer; more shelf space in the bathroom to hang/put stuff would be convenient as well as ventilation; social activities to engage guests are not offered (yet); breakfast was not very nutritious (only fresh fruit, butter, jam, toast, black tea, coffee and creamer were available) - coffee from Nespresso machine was available for small fee)

Very nice and accommodating staff, scooter rental and laundry service are available; rooms are spacious (mix of dorms and private rooms), nice common area to wind down and meet people

Only cons that can be annoying for some people is the hardness of the mattress. I don't know if they're all the same though, as we didn't ask.

We stand there for 5 nights. The staff and owners are lovely, very welcoming and helpful. We felt very comfortable staying there. Everything is super clean. It was very quiet at night when we were there, so we could properly rest after long days of diving.

The mattresses could be more comfortable; AC is turned off between 11AM - 6PM; no free towels in dorms but can be rented. Water pressure is moderate.

Loveliest people, owners and staff! Laundry service and scooter rental available; location is in a calm neighborhood close to beaches and there is plenty food options around.

The beds are super hard, even for Thailand and I had some pain from this, though the staff were happy to provide extra blankets which helped a lot. Better to take your laundry to somewhere else as some of mine was lost & shrunken and they couldn't really do anything.

Perfect stay in Koh Tao! The hostel is run by a lovely Spanish couple who are incredibly kind and make you feel like part of the family from the very first moment. They also speak Spanish, which makes everything even more comfortable if you’re a Spanish speaker. The breakfast is amazing — delicious, varied, and clearly made with love. The location is perfect, just a short walk to several beautiful beaches. And the rooms... absolutely spotless! Super clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. You can tell they put their heart into everything. I highly recommend this place — thank you for everything!
