Location with no signs in english, they do not expect too many foreigners in the area, and the street it not illuminated during the night, could be tough to find the reception that is made by a long metal container down the steep road. I had to wait a lot for my dinner, maybe a misunderstanding or too many customers asking for food at the same time, eventually after almost an hour I had my great thai dish ready! My room was the first from the left before going down the slope towards the "reception", it has the hardest mattress in which I've ever slept in my life, impossible to relax any inches of my body. Plus, the nights at that altitude might be windy and a nearby metal door was constantly slamming against it's wall, I barely managed to close my eyes that night. My wooden door was showing signs of wears, it doesn't close perfectly so through the holes during the cold nights there's a constant wind draft blowing inside making noise and keeping the room slightly cold. There's no bed sheet, only the mattress cover and directly the heavy blanket to warm up your body, I want to be optimistic saying that such a blanket is washed and dried out at every customer change. Being a famous tourist attraction for locals, I would say that you basically pay high room rates for the stunning view, the hotel itself should do some improvements in my opinion, especially on comfort.

The staff is not used to deal with foreigners but they try to accomodate my needs at their rythms. The location is wonderful, giving amazing panorama over the plateau towards the east. Great tasty thay food prepared by them for dinner, and a nice breakfast left on the patio made by sandwich, soup and eggs. Normal standard size room with minimum basic for a quick stay. Water provided on the room, big and small bottles. Nearby, towards the hill eastwards, there are restaurants available.
