Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ColombiaIt's a great place to stay. It's beautiful, clean and comfortable. They have complementary roasted coffee, drinking water, and cookies. Is highly recommended rent a scooter if you want to move around easily as the place is located around 800 meters from the town.

United StatesWell, it is not really close to Pai walking street. However, it dose not really matter, because most of travellers rent a scooter. If you rent a scooter, it only takes 5 to 8mins to walking street.
The staff are very friendly, and Tini, the general manager, pays close attention to every little detail. That's why the cleanliness is also very good. I've stayed in wooden bungalows like this many times, but they weren't cleaned well, so there were many places with cobwebs, dust, and grime, but this place is really clean. The bathroom has good hot water, and the room space is spacious, so you can stay comfortably. Above all, the surrounding natural scenery is amazing. There is also a coffee machine, so you can enjoy a leisurely morning with coffee. They also provide laundry service, so I think there is no better accommodation for long-term cost-effective travelers like here. I will go to this accommodation again next time.

United KingdomAnts kept coming up through the drain, but it was fun to shoot them with the bidet in the end. I then had a cockroach. There was a lizard too but I didn't mind him so much because he was getting the bugs.
This stay was lovely. The room itself was great value for money and it didn't fall down when the earthquake happened! The bed is comfortable and the person running is was very nice and helped with a problem I had.

FinlandThe bed could be better.
The staff and atmosphere are amazing. The room was big with nice windows and terrace. Area is in beautiful nature and there is some cafés and restaurants close by. Also the walking street is withing walking distance. We walked everywhere but for some people it might be easier to have a scooter.

SwitzerlandNice place to relax. Very green and quiet area but still within walking distance to the night market. You can sit in front of your bungalow and enjoy your day. Complimentary water/coffee/tea available 24/7. There is a yoga mat in the room that you can use to do some exercise during your stay 😃 Only thing that could be improved is the outdoors area in front of the bungalow. It's a bit old and outdated but otherwise perfect.

GermanyWe ended up staying 10 days instead of 3. It's great value for money; it's quiet, has atmosphere, the hosts are really nice and it's - by scooter, which you should have in Pai anyway - at most three minutes to Walking Street.

PortugalThe people in the next door resort can be very rude impolite and loud but Tynee and Dewi do their best to help you feel comfortable despite that.
Really lovely resort you feel in nature but it's a very beautiful short walk or ride from the center so you get the best of both worlds in great location. My room was great. really spacious with all amenities and super comfortable bed. Great sitting area outside the bungalow to relax plus a lovely common sitting area with hammocks and cute dogs and cats. There's even a shared kitchen which was so nice to make coffee in the morning. But the best part of all are the hosts! Tynee and Dewi are the sweetest hosts they really care and always helpful with everything and will do anything to make you feel comfortable and welcome.

ThailandWould need to still get a taxi to the strip or rent a ped or something as it's about a 20-30 minute walk still but still totally worth it.
The cutest little huts, very big and spacious and a communal kitchen area. We wish we stayed here our whole time in pai and would have had a much better experience. The manager, Tini was also so sweet and helpful.

The host Tinee went out of her way to make sure we had a comfortable stay, she was extremely welcoming and kind. She even did our laundry for free which was amazing. The room itself was big with a comfortable bed. It’s a 15min walk to town, but Tinee offered pick up from the bus station and dropped us back to town when we checked out

Everything! We only had a night booked here and ended up staying for 7 more. Thani and Dewi were the best hosts! So kind, attentive and friendly. Room is so spacious, amazing shower, nice balcony and air con is always a benefit. We would definitely come back here, very good value for money.
