Great location on a wonderful beach

We had was gaps in the windows so mosquitos would possible be able to get it. I sorted it by putting dry toilet paper in to the gaps. The only other issue which was pretty gross, was tiny lizards in the room. I don’t mind them normally as they eat bugs, but these would literally sh#t on you, your bed and your clothes from a great height.

Pool was nice and right on the beach. Aircon strong and cold. Plenty of choice for breakfast but obviously Thai options mainly.

The furniture is a bit dated and needs updating, but not a criticism as it was acceptable.

Staff in the bar were very disengaged and at times a bit surly. Bar music was loud and the breakfast was poor.

Location and beach access were good, the value for money was exceptional.

This is not a complaint, however, if you choose a back garden cabin, it is close to the main road.

The hotel itself is on the beach. Nice pool and bar and restaurant area. Lovely breakfast with lots to choose from. A short walk to local shops, bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly.

No hot shower in the room. The key you have to carry with you is enormous. I found the staff (girls at the desk) not very helpful or nice.

The staff could have been more friendly and polite. Usually staff in hotels are more than helpful and friendly but unfortunately we thought that when we asked for something it was too much for them to assist and even smile.

The property needs an update. The first garden villa we stayed in was musty and felt unclean. Terrible internet reception. Breakfast needs a few different fresh fruit and cereal changes / options. Some of the reception staff were rude. Bar / restaurant staff are very slow even when not busy. Great area if you have transport- if not prob better at white sand beach or Kai Bai.

The grounds maintenance and room cleaning staff were immaculate. The beachfront bungalow was in a great position between the restaurant and pools. The beach / water was clean and litter free.

Since we came we got this feeling of lots of notes hanging everywhere telling you what not to do incl fines amounts. eg to stay quiet on the beach (really?!?) until Thai families arrived for weekend stays and it was very far from quiet. This was also the only place on our travels that requested key deposit in cash! That is the weirdest thing to ask if we consider you might travel back home from here and have nowhere to spend such amount (no option to leave Euros). Left the passport instead and it was held till very last minute. The breakfast coffee machine is disaster!!! Very slow not suitable for this amount of people. The staff doesn’t speak english except one person on reception.

The location is close to shops and restaurants&food stalls. The beach in front of hotel is perfection. Bungalows are very cute and cleaned. Water in shower warm. AC worked well. It’s nice that each hut has 2 sunchairs that you can take to the beach. There is lots and lots of shade and well maintained garden. You get 2 bottles of water every day, coffee/tea refill. The beach is wide so you still find spot in the shade and can watch the most amazing sunsets. Right across the street is exchange that had the best rate and also great priced day trips. Marcos is the best Italian resto on the island with real italian food! Ate in hotel resto on arrival day bc we were tired to go elsewhere and it was ok but pricey. The breakfast was basic but ok.

No long sun loungers on the beach and not enough folding beach chairs for all guests

Queuing for coffee at breakfast. Had only one, rather slow coffee machine leading to queues. Needs a second machine.

Great position on a clean, sandy beach that slopes gently beneath the sea. Trees providing shade on the beach. Several restaurants and shops close by. Simple but comfortable rooms.

Not enough loungers to lay on, not enough hot water in shower . Argued nightly about I’ve for my swollen leg from fall , they wanted to charge me and a crazy charge to take a wine glass to room which I wouldn’t pay

Only reason we didn't give 10/10 is because the shower/bathroom was pretty old and could do with an update. Breakfast could also do with a better variety for example, bacon, hashbrowns etc as well as Thai breakfast.

We LOVED our stay in Flora i Talay! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was more than our expectations as we were a stone throw away from the beach. The air con was great, our room was cleaned when requested (every day) and we were given new water and towels each day.

Our room was a little damp but for the price we didn’t mind at all!

Lived the location and the room being so close to the most beautiful beach. It was really family friendly and our son loved it. We took our dog with us and she had a great time too!

Nothingwas bad, really.

The cozy atmosphere and access to beach, the best on the island we realized when we strolled it back and forth. The pool was clean and nice with always available beds. Breakfast was ok! But as it usually is, it becomes dull after a week. Lot’s of alternative restaurants in the neighborhood, but food is as good on this resort for a dinner.

Bungalow a little bit dated, the upper rooms are more spaces and brighter.

Very nice staff and the breakfast / dining area where "on the beach" perfect. Was there in the middle of november and not too many people :) Nice garden, massage 5 meter from the pool, and close to small shopping and dining area.
