The bathroom sink wasn't fitted properly and dangerous. The bed was a little hard. The bathroom door was made for dwarfs for some strange reason. There is no signage from the main road.

The staff had little English. There were constantly bugs and geckos in the room and the location was a 25 minute walk from the main busy area of the island.

Second time visiting here! Great location, clean rooms with mini bar which was really handy and reasonably priced ☺️ Fridge and great sized Tv with a really comfy bed. Staff really helpful and sweet …. Laundry service was great used both times I was there. Would recommend and I will def be back ☺️

Koh Tao had a planned power outage for two days of my stay :( but this is absolutely out of the property’s control so i write this very lightly :)

The location is nice and quiet away from the business of the city but also a short walk away to get to the main strip of Mae Haad. Im not confident on bikes/scooters so walked around everywhere, Sairee beach is an easy walk away too maybe 20 minutes. Room was tidy and the bathroom was very spacious! Super friendly and helpful staff. Water bottles provided FOC topped up every morning. Very happy with my stay!

A couple of drainage issues in the bathroom causing for it to smell after a couple days.

The room is spacious and the TV was a present surprise. The sitting area outside of the individual bungalows were handy and felt like you had your own space. The location is great if you’re looking to stay near the pier but you would have to get a taxi to get into the main strip so makes a night out difficult. So good we extended our stay!

Walls are very thin, my neighbour had his tv against my headboard and I could hear their conversation too.

The bathroom had a bit of a funky smell but nothing too severe! The TV apps didn’t work/didn’t let us log in.

Amazing location and really cute bungalows! The staff were amazing and super friendly! I’d really recommend renting a bike there as they do great deals!

I stayed for 5 days and my room was only cleaned once water in the fridge not topped up no hanging space and no safe no mirror in the bedroom and the mirror in the bathroom you can't use because it's dark in the bathroom

Nice bungalows in a quiet area of the island but walkable to lots of restaurants and good for the pier. Reception staff were very helpful with anything we needed. Room was a great size and we liked that the fridge was full of stuff to take (for a charge).

Lovely bungalows built right above the pier so it can get a little overwhelming when you go out to the main street, luckily the resort is placed in a little street that separates you from the noise. The receptionist (which i forgot the name of) was really polite and helpful, laundry service was quick and precise, and we felt very comfortable. Thank you!

Would have appreciated the water, tea and coffee being topped up when the room was cleaned. Also due to its location, a mosquito net over the bed would be useful

Bathrooms could do with an upgrade and there’s no pool but that’s the only negative. Great place and would stay again!

We absolutely loved our 5 night stay at the Giggling Tree in Koh Tao- it was the perfect base in a great location. Super comfy beds & duvet, massive smart tv (so nice to have Netflix as an option for a chilled night!), very effective AC and a lovely balcony to relax on 🌴 Super quiet and peaceful, even though it’s only a 2 minute walk down to Mae Haad pier area with all the shops & cafes. Honestly probably the quietest place we stayed in Koh Tao and appreciated good sleep here 💤 Special shout out to T who runs the reception & resort and is the friendliest guy always there with a smile! Helped us out with booking laundry and recommended the premium Oxygen snorkel boat tour which was the highlight of our trip. Thanks so much T we will be back! 🙏

Our bathroom got a bit whiffy after heavy rain, which might be down to poor drainage in the surrounding area.

New and very comfortable bungalows within walking distance of Mae Haad town centre. You don't need to take a taxi to reach the resort, which is walkable in 5-10 minutes from the ferry terminal. Rooms are cleaned and serviced every day if you request it, and staff are very helpful and friendly. Overall, highly recommended.
