Breakfast was fantastic both western and Asian. Best omelette in Thailand. You need your own transport or the host didn’t hesitate to order a tuk tuk. Host and mum couldn’t do enough for us. Would highly recommend.

Amazing stay — the host and her mother treated me like family. They helped me book tours, arranged a motorbike within minutes of arrival, and made everything so easy. The place was super clean, quiet at night, and the room felt like a professionally staged designer suite. Couldn’t ask for more.

Nothing it was absolutely faultless!

Everything was perfect. Clean and cozy room with the most comfortable bed. Lovely hosts were very inviting and helped me book onward travel and gave tips for my time in Chiang Rai. I loved having the bikes to use to cycle to the nearby temples and big Buddha. And don’t forget delicious breakfast cooked by mom!

Clean and very comfortable Thai and her mother were very pleasant hosts. The place was a short tuk tuk ride or reasonable walking distance from the bus station and the open air food market and walking street We accidentally left a day early, misreading our calendar!!

This apartment is located near the center of Chiang Rai, within walking distance of shops, older temples, and other local attractions. Our hostess, Thai, is alert to her guests' needs and wishes, and offers practical advice and help with travel and tour arrangements. Her mom cooks a customized breakfast for travelers of many nationalities, and we enjoyed our Asian vegetarian specials very much. The kind and considerate welcome we received from Thai and her mom made our visit to Chiang Rai more personal and much more memorable.

Loved absolutely everything about our stay at this lovely five star boutique guesthouse. The most modern high quality room I’ve stayed in to date in Thailand. All the amenities are first rate. The owner / host is so friendly and accommodating. The location is nice and quiet in a high end neighbourhood. The breakfast was excellent. Like I say everything is perfect at Huan Amphan!

Noise in the other rooms travelled easily so bring ear plugs if bothered by noise. Location was in a more local area but with a couple of delicious restaurants nearby. Very doable walk into the city centre but didn't love it as much at night.

Everything was super comfortable and clean. Rooms were spacious and nicely designed. Everything worked as it should. The owner and her mom are super sweet and we felt really comfortable staying with them. It’s about a 25 min walk to the center of town which for us, is an acceptable walking distance. :) Breakfast was basic but it was nice to have a home cooked meal prepared for us each morning.

Highly recommended - We had a great time at Huan Amphan! Tai and her mother are super kind and prepare a delicious breakfast with the possibility to choose from different options of food as well as coffee, tea and fruit. She provided us with all the necessary information and great tips to explore Chiang Rai and the surrounding area and even organized a scooter rental for us (highly recommended to explore the beautiful surroundings and nature). The interior of the room is very nice, modern, spacious and designed with great attention to detail. The accommodation was perfectly clean and we felt very comfortable! The location is also very good, with most of the sights in chiang Rai such as the Clock Tower and Night bazaar within walking distance. Thank you again for your great hospitality. We look forward to coming back again!

Not very sound proof, we could hear the people in the room next to us very clearly.

The host was amazing. We were traveling for our honeymoon and she was thoughtful enough to leave roses in the room for us. The room was clean and had all necessities. In the morning, the hosts mother made us a home cooked Thai breakfast that was absolutely delicious!

There was nothing that I did not like!

I loved my room, the facilities, the friendly and helpful staff. I especially liked the location which was quiet and out of the hustle bustle of the city yet within walking distance to the Saturday night market. I felt much more in touch with the local culture then I have at tourist hotels.

We liked everything

I was a bit confused about this property before we got there as it said shared bathroom. We stayed in the family room which is 4 single beds, tv with English channels and a big desk/ dressing table. Through the lockable door there’s a kitchen and big bathroom and a single room which wasn’t rented when we stayed so we had the place to ourselves. The bathroom has two blocks each with a shower and toilet. The whole place is very trendy and immaculately clean. The beds are super comfortable and the towels and sheets are great quality. Fantastic shower too. There’s free parking for your car and you can walk 20 minutes into town (night bizarre, walking street, clock tower) or use the free bikes (no kids bikes or seats)! We’d definitely book here again if we came back to Chiang Rai

Everything was great. Both mother and daughter take care of the place, and they are extremely kind and available to help. We were able to organise the bike rent right from there. The room and bathroom were the best we have been until now in our 20-day trip. The bed extremely comfortable. The mother prepares the breakfast every morning based on the guest request the day before. You can choose from 8 different possibilities of local food or continental breakfast. It was just GREAT! Amazing quality for the price! If I ever go back, I will book again for sure

Fantastically stylish room with great amenities, including the most comfortable bed, fantastic shower and beautiful decor. The owner is a super hostess, going to great lengths to ensure we were comfortable, providing great advice and an excellent breakfast - she was also incredibly kind in organising scooters for us to visit various sites around Chiang Rai. We would highly recommend staying here!
