How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very basic unit. Not sure what the point of the microwave oven was. Mold on ceiling in the kitchenette and huge puddle of water on the floor.

The a/c had a little dripping issue, but no biggie. Also the kitchen isn‘t fully equipped (no plates or cutlery), but we didn’t think that’s a problem.
Really nice and clean Garden View Bungalow. The staff was always friendly and very helpful! Also the lady at the frontdesk was very friendly and kind, she‘s not rude at all like other comments might suggest. Basic but spacious and clean room, very close to the beach. The patio is really nice.

front desk lady was terrible. Never smiled once in four days.. Some people are meant to be in the service industry. Others are not and she made my experience a bad one. The room was OK, but the bathroom light went off and on... and the room only had one electrical outlet, one clothes hanger and someone's dirty socks left from before.. Also the name spa resort is not correct. No restaurant pool or spa... basically a hostel with a few villas

It would be nice to have more chairs outside to sit on and the ones that were there were uncomfortable. Given it’s location it can be noisy at night but it didn’t disturb us too much. There are lots of places for mosquitoes to get in.
We had a beach facing bungalow and the location of this couldn’t have been better! It was a quiet part of the beach. There is a nice big veranda. The beds were comfortable, the shower was good and the air conditioning worked well. The room was very clean. Because of the location on the beach this was one of our favourite places we stayed.

We reserved a room with a kitchen but they gave us one without. It took us a while to make us understand and they moved us to a room with a kitchen but empty :/. 24 hours later we had a minimum kitchen.
The location is very centric, close to all the main attractions on the main beach. The staff was friendly.

The music and noise from the hostel next door was a bit annoying. The lady running the place can come off a bit rude but she means well. Would have liked to have two keys as it’s quite easy to lock yourself out of the room.
Great location, in the middle of the walking street. Room was a good size and had everything we needed.

The room was very basic, and would benefit from some cosmetic updates and mod cons. If you are going for the beach this is perfect but don't expect more.
We had a beach front chalet with a terrace and stairs almost into the sea. It was extremely convenient with children to be located close and meant there wasn't a huge effort of packing and not forgetting any beach stuff as it was easy to nip back. The stretch of beach this is on is much more chilled than either end at the more built up areas although it is easy enough walking distance to the local centres.

I was in the doorms, it's really not comfortable to get to the second floor bed. You have a AC and Fan above your head. Only drywall separate between your head to the reception. At morning you will hear every talking and you wiudnlt be able to continue sleeping. Booking location isn't right I had to search the place all over.
There is a towel, place to sit near the reception if you want to play with your phone or make some phone calls. The owner tried to help me to find the place she was nice. The locker is big but you don't really have a locker, I just found a key there.

Staff was rude and didn't speak any english. We had to use google translator. Beds were litarally hard as rock. Location was convinient but noisy with all the music, talking and motorcycles.
We stayed in seaside/beachfront bungalow. Good location close to beach, restaurants, shops and other services.

Sadly resort does not have a pool but very close to the sea!
Great location in the middle of the Sairee beach area with minimal noise at night. Large spacious room with kitchenette (with fridge, sink, portable hob and microwave) and balcony at the front. Very clean and well maintained! Room had Aircon and an area from drying clothes etc on balcony. The double bed was very comfy and clean linen. The room had a kettle and fridge perfect for a morning coffee on the balcony. Would highly recommend and I would stay again if I was in the area.
