The check-out time is set 10:00 AM, which feels quite early, especially considering that the restaurant doesn’t open until 11:00 AM. Guests have to find somewhere else for breakfast before hitting the road. Other than that, everything else was great.

Small cozy place. Owners are very kind and helpful people and the staff was super friendly. Beer was great and food was very delicious. The place allows dogs with small charge. It is located right on the beach. We will visit again to say hi to cute gentle giant Freddie. 🙂

Nothing to remark on really. They don't do breakfasts or meals every evening but there are plenty of other places nearby..

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The choice of food was excellent, including German dishes and beer. Being right next to the beach in a peaceful area was also ideal.

There was really nothing that we didn't like.

We loved the welcome and the care and friendliness of our hosts and being right next to the beach. The atmosphere was excellent as was the food, with the choice of German dishes and beer as well as Thai. They serve the largest schnitzel I have ever seen!

Anya and Michael and Freddy (dog)are superb hosts. A lovely on the beach pad in a secluded position. No breakfast but plenty of coffee and ice cold beer. Close to the beautiful lake with a fantastic board walk all around. Sunrise at the beach sunset at the lake..superb.

Lovely beachfront property. We stayed in the large room above the restaurant and it was so chill and lovely to hear the waves and watch the ocean. The restaurant was fantastic too, incredible menu! The giant schnitzel is recommended (see photo)

What's not to like?

The Lodge is an absolute gem of a place to stay. It is right on the beach with beautiful views. It is tranquil day and night. They only have a few rooms so early booking is essential. We wanted to stay for three nights but, sadly, only one night was available. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The Lodge has a lovely restaurant specializing in German food but Thai food is also available. The food was delicious and eating by the beach was a wonderful experience. Easy listening sounds of the 70s were a perfect soundtrack for a beautiful evening. The owners were kind, courteous and very helpful. The Thai staff were charming too. It is perfect for a short stay but honestly, we would stay for a month, if we could.

Nice location. Have access to the beach, pet friendly, I was travelling with my dog. Very nice owners, good place to stop for a night if you travel with animals. Good price. We had nice sea view from balcony, rooms are not big and simple but nice decorated, we enjoyed time in this hotel.

That we had to leave and go home.

We are return customers, we love the location and so does our dog. Michael and Anya are so welcoming and we feel like we are at home when we are here. They gave us great tips for the local area for dog-friendly restaurants. The food that Michael prepared is amazing and we always eat here when they are open.

nothing but just to FYI this place may not good if you are allergic to smoke and also the room was not sound proof. You can hear people talking and doing things but after midnight everything was quiet.

good location not far from Hua Hin city center. Property close to the beach which is quite. The owner and general staff were kind and helpful. We didn’t try the food but I’m sure that must be incredible judged from all table in the restaurant were fully seated. The view from my room was amazing, u will see the sunrise from your window. We will come back for sure.

Nothing, we will definitely come back

We spent 1 one night is this super pet friendly hotel. We loved the fact our baby furry boy was so spoiled. Michael and his wife, all the the staff were very friendly :) We had dinner at their restaurant and it was great too. And the fact you are right on the beach, made it even better. Our kids had a great time also playing in and out on the sand.

the only thing I could think of was thatch’s was a little further then we thought from town, this is both good because its nice and quiet but going to town takes a bit of time, the owners are very helpful getting a cab.

what’s not to like ?

shabby chic , casual and genuinely friendly staff. you step onto the beach and see incredible scenery… Buddhist temple , colourful fishing boats and children playing football. it’s not five star but it’s authenticity beautiful.
