Would suggest that they put some decent outdoor furniture in place instead of the wooden bench seat.

Nothing special about the accommodation but just a nice place to be. The river in the front of the villa and a great beach behind. You really feel relaxed from the moment you arrive.

Road to get there a bit bampy. Bad water pressure in the shower, no hot water, so no use of bath tub, tv did not work.

You need transport to get out to Sol Beach for lively time as path is long and would be a hard walk daily. Bloody sandflies , so has whole island.

A little bit far away from the main road, you need to take a motorbike or take the shuttle they provide. Or walk for 20 minutes.

We absolutely loved our stay at Longstay resort! Before arriving we didn't know there was a villa that provided a kitchen, big fridge and tools to cook. Also the villa had two verandas, one with sea view and the other next to the river. So gorgeous! And a big bedroom and a huge bathroom. We understand why they call it Longstay - here we would have liked to stay 2 weeks instead of only 2 nights. Close accès to the beach. Really nice and helpful staff. Good motorbikes for rent. I already miss our breakfasts on the veranda...

Only disadvantage if you want to get to the main part of Klong Prao beach you have to swim across the rivermouth. It was never shallow enough to walk across while we were there. Fun but not ideal if you want to visit a restaurant.

Nice comfortable villas right on the sea. Well designed so you can walk straight into the shower after being in the sea without dripping through other rooms. Good AC. Beach also has a fresh water shower and sunbeds. Staff were great, unintrusive, helpful and kept the place clean. The road is not too far to walk for restaurants and supplies. Highly recommend 4chang noodle for food on the main road.

AC not strong enough for the room size in hot season, we have been sweating inside the AC room during the day. Generally the electric appliances seem very old, kettle also not useable due to material already breaking apart inside, TV quality and size not up to date, etc.

Good room sizes, nice beach- and riverside, good veranda to chill outdoors.

A bit far from main road (~1.5km) with short gravel paths

-Quiet place with private beach -clean and comfy house , big bed room , love the balcony with river view -small kitchen with enough kitchenette to made your owns meals - staff was nice and willing to help - in the evening, can walk along the beach for 2-3km and there is many restaurants that can reach on foot

I can’t fault it it was around 20 to 25 pound a night for a villa. It’s fantastic views. I just can’t fault it I would just book now. Great experience and I travel around the world.

Fantastic views of beach through many windows. Great restaurant across the river on other side where they will pick you up and drop you off again free. Best red curry I have had in years. We hired moterbikes to get around the Island and they are very cheap like a few pounds a day. Another great beach walk to another great restaurant on other side.

Poorly maintained. Leak in bathroom roof. Aircon could not maintain less than 27deg during the afternoons. Gardener washed out his weed poison equipment on our front step. Basically run down as they look to re-build. Not worth half the money we paid. Do not recommend at all.

The location is a bit remote, so renting a scooter is the best way to get around and explore the area.

The bungalow was very spacious and comfortable. The location is excellent, with direct access to a clean beach. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the sea!

The only downside was the kitchen, it lacked in equipment for you to be able to make your own food etc. The hot plate provided did not work and the pan provided was not suitable as it was burnt and food stuck to this easily. To make this stay 100% I would recommend providing proper equipment and utensils to use within a decent dinner set.

This property was amazing, situated in-between the river and the sea with a large deck to relax and a balcony to sunbathe throughout the day, as well as plenty of sun beds scattered across the beach facing. This was our favourite accommodation in Thailand. We had a really comfy bed and a bath to use after long days exploring. The staff were great, the room was cleaned daily with new towels provided and scooter rental was organised with staff within 20 minutes of arrival. The location means you would need a scooter, ideally. We would stay here again:)

We arrived by cab, were greeted briefly by a young man, who took me straight to our bungalow number 101. In the house, the employee held a price list in front of my face and said that it was a list of the fines to be paid if you destroyed any equipment. I thought to myself that I hadn't come there with destructive intentions, but to relax. Instead of this list, I would have much preferred a welcome drink in form of a cold juice after our 6 hours drive. The bungalow was generally basic, but clean, and there was a total lack of terrace or patio furniture, no table, no chairs, only a wooden bench. Another point is the condition of the sun loungers on the beach. In fact, many of the sun loungers are in a poor state. As there are no employees on site to oversee the beach area, the few sun loungers are also used by outsiders who are not staying at Longstay Resort. Furthermore, the last 200 meters or so of the access road are not in good condition, which can be dangerous for moped riders. Overall, Longstay Resort could be a beautiful place, but it needs more effort and care.

We went to Koh Chang several times, we mostly stayed in larger hotels with bungalows. This time we wanted a more spacious, self-catering bungalow, so we booked a house from Koh Chang Longstay Resort. The location is really beautiful, the 12 bungalows are located between the sea and the lagoon.

We loved everything about it! I want a house that looks like it. The whole unit is the entire house with a very big bedroom connected to bathroom with a big bath tub! The living room and kitchen is spacious. It’s literally a whole big house!

I’ve been coming to Koh Chang for 6 years. Always saw this place but never stayed. If you like a quiet spot and privacy this is the best resort in the area. Klong Prao has the best beaches and access to amenities. The villas are spacious with everything you need. I extended my stay and will stay here every time from now on.

Couldn’t get the bathtub to plug, but not a big deal

Amazing place to stay! The villa was very clean and beautiful, and a comfy bed. Full kitchen if you want to get groceries. There is a restaurant 2 minutes down the beach with lovely people and cheap food! About a 15-20 min walk from small shops, 7/11, and more food. Overall would highly recommend.
