Hotel has not been maintained for a while. Lots of things around property is broke and just left so. Like all of the gym is broke down. Guests are allowed to smoke cannabis all day long on property . Smells up to the 3 floor early in the morning. Good or bad ?

Location perfect between main village and popular main beach Sairee beach. Short walk to both. Hotel right on the beach. Good value for the money. Old and dated but ac and location and breakfast Ok in thai standards.

Expect noise from neighbors, and hallway. There is very little sound isolation between rooms, or the hallway. Bring ear plugs just in case. It was probably a 5 star hotel once... Now probably 2.5 star.

Cleanliness could be a bit better, housekeeping a bit lacklustre. There could be more beds around the pool and on the beach. The gym is also not in a working condition.

We got a room upgrade to a sea view, so we had a very large room with a balcony overlooking the sea. We didn’t expect this but it was a welcome surprise. Very happy.

We booked for one night and stayed for the whole week. The finer details of the hotel are not finished to European standard which I expect influences why the rating is a bit lower on booking sites. That having been said, we booked the big room with the beach view for an excellent price and it truly cannot be beat. The view was stunning and the room was massive. Floor to ceiling windows around the room. The bed was a bit tough but this is common for Thailand and we pulled the duvet out and put it under the sheet which made the bed more comfortable.

It needs to be maintained better. It definitely has seen better days. The receptiom staff were not very friendly or helpful. There was no information in our room about facilities or activities available.

Room was not serviced except to change towels and refresh water. The whole place has a feel of “faded grandeur” and now seems to be run on a shoestring of staff No one to carry cases and no lift so if you are unsteady or unable to lift then find somewhere else. The place could do with a really proper clean. Rooms are really old fashioned, furniture is old, bathroom old, water supply to shower very hot and miss….

Really nothing other than the location right on the beach and the two swimming pools (one deep, one 25m). The breakfast was “ok” as was the food generally.

Not good WiFi connection. Sometimes it didn't work good. For breakfast they have only 3 options, don't have many choices and kind of fruits.

Dirty sheets , hair in the fridge, no towels on arrival, no pick up from pier after messaging the boat arrival time.

House cleaners pretty slack. Had to ask for replacement towels several times. Floor swept but marks not mopped. Toilet hose (bum gun!) leaking for several days before we complained and it was replaced with a new one. Breakfast food pretty ordinary, not worth the 200 baht. Reception staff (bar one) not overly friendly. Language problem?

Great 3rd floor room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Very large room. Short walk along the beach to Mae Haad town. Very nice pool but sea better, cooler!

Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. Gym could use some maintenance and more equipment. Pool beds need cushions. Also is about 20 minutes to walk to busy area

Wonderful private beach. Large room & bathroom. Not too many options for breakfast, but it was fresh & delicious nonetheless. Location is central and very close to the pier by foot, car & motorbike.

Yes the hotel was a little run down and could do with some maintenance, lots of people said this in reviews i read while booking, and yes there were parts that need improving, however you have to cut it some slack as a fairly large hotel on a remote island in Asia that is likely still only just recovering from covid pandemic, I think it's fair to cut it some slack at the price paid. If you want luxury flawless it's worth looking elsewhere. But if you want clean comfortable beach front in a good location and can overlook some rough edges then go for it!

The hotel was in a good location, right on the beach front. Had a gorgeous sea view room with huge panoramic windows and wraparound balcony (great for sunny days and monsoon storm watching), four poster bed and massive spacious room which was clean and comfortable, we had fresh towels and bottled water daily. The room had a big bathroom, fridge and air con, Staff were friendly and helpful, pool was nice and stepped right onto the beach. For the money spent can't complain was a lovely spot.

the pool was very difficult to get in and out of. the tiles were very slippery and also had sharp jagged edges which put us off going to the pool. dangerous for older people and kids. our room door was very difficult to open and spent 5-10 every time we left trying to get back in (room 301). the lack of help to get the door fixed as we were staying there 10 nights and no one fixed it.

the food at the restaurant for dinner was actually some of the best we had eaten on the island except breakfast was a little limited and bland. can highly recommend the Penang curry and the Caesar salad. the view from the front Seaview villas were amazing! 180 degrees of ocean front and they are huge rooms with wraparound balconies.

Nice breakfast with nice view restaurant. Large bedroom with superB Seaview. Very close to our diving school just 2-3 mins on foot. Everything is clean.
