There was only one light which was quite dark and the shower head was blocked so there wasn’t much water coming out.

Definitely needs some renovations. Only 1/3 of the shower head worked, bathroom door lock didn’t work, very dark inside, could do with some bedside lights. The mosquito nets on the windows had lots of holes or didn’t close properly rendering them a bit useless. Also, no mosquito nets over the beds as stated in the photos. For the price you just expect standard things to be good.

Amazing location and beautiful scenery. On a nice quiet part of the island but not too far from main town. Very aesthetic little hut, at one with nature. If you don’t like bugs this isn’t the place for you! But we don’t mind :)

The bathroom wasn’t fully closed—the walls didn’t reach the ceiling—so smells would spread, which was uncomfortable, it lacked a bit of privacy and comfort, which didn’t quite match my expectations for the price.

The staff was really friendly and helpful, they made the stay pleasant and welcoming.

rooms weren’t exactly as advertised. AC would not work properly and leaked the entire time. Holes in the floor of the bathroom leading to an ant infestation

The mattress was very old and slightly uncomfortable.

It was away from the bustle of the main street but only a short walk away and very close to the sea. The hut we had was very much amongst nature and the hammock was a lovely addition and the staff were helpful.

Is a hut in the woods basically , if you do not like nature or camping is not for you . I had no problem with that but they overcharge for it. They have a very small beach area with no chairs nor anything to sit and relax .they do not offer any service beside i think some brakfast for extra fee .the room has almost no light . Very disappointed.

The bungalow is very basic and therefore you should expect a few geckos and mosquitos. However, the mosquito net that was provided above the bed was old and had holes in it. AC wasn't very good.

Great stay away from the noisy areas but still close enough to walk to restaurants, bars and 7/11. The bungalow is very basic, but had everything you needed and a nice balcony with a hammock. Close to 'their own' beach. Fine, but again basic, bathroom. Would definitely stay again.

the shower was broken and looked like it was held together by tape. we had to hold it whenever we needed to shower or else it would just shoot straight to the wall. also there’s 3 roosters nearby that keep you up all night lol but still would stay there again

The overall condition of the bungalows are not great and could use some TLC. Pretty low standard compared to other places within similar price range. A bit dark in the rooms. Some small holes in the floor and some of the windows had partly broken glass (mosquito screen on the windows though) The room was relatively clean. But the room cleaning during our stay was not great

Super nice, quiet and charming location right next to the beach. The bungalow was in a very beautiful and well kept area with lots of vegetation. Very sweet and helpful lady at the reception. Overall a nice area with some good restaurants and shops nearby.

Beach bar was never open and kitchen only served breakfast so not other options. Bathroom at lobby out oos as were the laundry facilities. Staff are somewhat helpful. All in all I was satisfied with the value for money.

Location is great; right on the beach and at the end of the street leading to the Ferry Terminal so easy access but still very quiet. Rooms are cozy but shower is very spartan.

Calling it Royal is a bit far fetched. Would be good for budget backpacking, if the price wasn't royal. Toilet is not that private as the ceiling is missing.

The bathroom didn’t have a roof. It was just open into the room. So you hear everything from the bathroom. Slightly overpriced for what you get.

The bungalow windows were all shuttered shut which did not provide a serene atmosphere. I never went upstairs because I couldn’t figure out how to turn on the light for upstairs and it was pitch black darkness day and night because no windows were open for natural light. It was a little creepy and staying as a solo woman I was a little nervous.

I liked that it was tucked away from the main strip and provided solitude and privacy. The bathroom was lovely.

We did not have much to chose from since it was X-Mas eve and the island was sold out. The bungalows are in a very different state. We had 3 of them and all different.

We ended up extending our stay here as we thought it was great value especially on Koh Tao and with a group of 6 people! The staff were all so friendly and The location is perfect! 5 minute walk from the pier and close to many great restaurants and cafes!

the whole bungalow is slanted backwards, a lot of noise is coming in from the AC engine, boats and ferries, Oh and only one charging point in the room (behind the mini fridge)

Very overpriced for what it is: a simple room with one dim lightbulb, space between the floorboards (even in our AC room!, etc. It should have been half the price, even with the location.

Surprisingly quiet considering it is near the "downtown" area near the ferry. Right on the beach! And I loved it had a hammock on the porch, and a rope to hang your drying clothes and towels on.

Great location to the quieter side of Koh Tao. 2 seconds away from the beach! Felt very Horus with you own private bungalow.
