We absolutely loved this hotel. Decorated in such a delightful way. We picked it because you can walk around to andamanda water park, around 5 minutes walk away. The hotel was able to store all our luggage as we had checked out. And at the end of the day we walked back around, crossed over the road to the shopping mall and had dinner, picked our bags up and got a bolt to the airport. Wonderful staff couldn't have made this easier, and we were so grateful. Our room was really lovely, it had a comfortable loft bed, and lots of room underneath it, with a couch, tv and lovely bathroom. Water pressure, and aircon were both strong. Cute cafe within property, and money exchange next door with good rates.

Beautiful venue, clean, AMAZING service, free wifi, aircon, comfy rooms, hot showers, amazing cafe in house, beautiful creative courtyard/outdoor area, fast communication, close to shops and location in the centre of everything!

Really nice and clean hostel, the facilities were in good shape, the bed was comfy and the host Ake was amazingly friendly and really taking care of his guests! The location is a little outer the center, bit if you wanna see every area of Phuket it's perfect, south west east everything almost the same way. Can definitely recommend!

Great stay at Shade House Phuket Downtown! The hotel is clean, modern, and in a good location. The staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it for a comfortable stay in Phuket!

It’s not overly social and private room could do with a mirror so you don’t have to keep stepping out into the main floor to get ready.

The property is clean and facilities are nice. The private room is very big and comfortable. The property cats are adorable!

Only downside is that it kinda far from the main area. You definitely need a scooter here. Rooms are kinda small as well but it didn’t matter to us since we shared a 4 bed room and there were 4 of us. It would be tight if having to share with strangers.

Beautiful hostel! Loved that they had it decorated up for Christmas. The workers were awesome and so kind despite the language barrier. They even gave us a Thai dessert to try! We liked that it had big tables for us to play cards and chill. We also had some access to cook there which was really appreciated!

Pretty much everything. The decor is flawless, every inch is cleaner than what you’d expect in a hostel. Super accommodating. Ake is a wonderful host and I am glad to have made a friend in Phuket, Thailand. Can’t wait to come back :)

This was by far the best host we've ever had. Ake took every possible opportunity to go an extra mile for our comfort and satisfaction. He even gave us a little gift on our way out. If you ever stay in Phuket, stay at the Shade House. You won't regret it.

just the noise from the outside- not soundproof the dogs at the neighbourhood- im not a fan of dogs btw location is a bit quiet, i’d prefer staying in alone at night

the atmosphere was incredible, the design magnificent. honestly, they have a fabulous host very much i like about it!. it feels like home! they even have cats- they are cute! there’s a cafe you can chill- drink and coffee. very nice outdoor space you can gather also in there you don’t feel too hot even you’re outside. the nature brought me to my family’s house! staffs were superb helpful! would definitely recommend the stays! friendly guests too! oh btw my room is a mountain view! book that one it’s pretty! the location- it’s a little bit inner side of few properties there. but should be safe maybe watchout if alone at night, bit creepy for me because of the dogs!
