Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe high-pressure water supply into our tent sprang a leak in the middle of our first night, which would have been a total disaster for farang visitors. Very fortunately my wife is Thai and could explain to the night security guard who spoke no English what was happening. He gave her a number to call as there were no resort staff present at night, and no telephone system to seek help. The off-site night manager authorised a change of rooms for us at 3:30am. Not the best night’s sleep but the staff did everything they could to make up for this unfortunate plumbing occurrence.
Modelling the resort on a tented camp that you might find in the Masai Mara game reserve in Kenya works incredibly well in the lush landscape of Khao Yai. Our grandchildren absolutely loved the sense of camping (albeit in highly luxurious tents!) and were able to enjoy some freedom and independence, riding around on bicycles. We all enjoyed the swimming pool and the lake with the fish gathering under the wobbly suspension bridge. The grounds are full of mature, well maintained bushes and trees, on the edge of the beautiful densely forested hills of the national park.

ThailandBreakfast had plenty of choices, but the quality of the dairy products could be better. Many dishes were left uncovered, which attracted flies and insects around the buffet area.
Very well organized—simple, private, and with a beautiful view. Easily one of our favorite spots near the national park. It brings you close to nature while still being clean and comfortable.

ThailandThe mattress was a bit firm, but not a major issue. Offering a few higher-quality bakery and dairy options at breakfast would be a lovely touch.
This place is clean, simple, and well organized, set among trees and mountains. It’s very kid-friendly, and breakfast offers a nice variety of Asian dishes. It would be even better with more quality bakery and dairy options.

It’s a beautiful property set in a lush natural space which is great for my children as they love nature. It is extremely near to the Khao Yai National park and there’s a 7-11 nearby too. We lived in one of the loft houses.

United KingdomThis is a beautiful property that truly feels like a luxurious camping experience. Our tent was in a wooded area. It was larger than we expected, the bed and other furnishings were very comfortable, and it had a very nice bathroom. The AC kept it plenty cool. It was a bit dark in the tent, however. The grounds and setting were very beautiful with natural landscaping and lots of mature trees. The location was perfect for us, just a short drive to the entrance to Khao Yai national park. There were a number of restaurants and shops within walking distance, as well.

United KingdomWe didn't come with our own car and this was something that stopped us from getting too far. There were decent restaurants and a 7-11 nearby that we were happy to walk to, but we will definitely come with a car next time. This didn't affect us too much as we had a wildlife day tour booked, but just for anyone arriving themselves in the future.
Loved the beautiful setting of the property - it was amazing to have breakfast with a view of the lake or chill by the pool overlooking the lake and hills. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast spread was something we really enjoyed too (offering both Thai and Western options).

ChinaBreakfast very so so and limited in variety- every morning the coffee is either finished or near finished, staff can be more attentive to the filling up. WiFi doesn’t work the whole time except for the first day.

NetherlandsA precaution for light sleepers; The airconditioning unit is situated outside, next to the tent. Rather noisy, obviously.
Great value for money and a fun way to spend some nights near Khao Yai national park. The airconditioned tent was surprisingly comfortable! Our stay was during the low season which resulted in a very quiet resort. It almost felt like we had the resort to our own. So the shared bathroom wasn’t necessarily shared, haha.

AustraliaLala Mukha is beautifully located, with tents and tree houses situated around a small lake. A path runs around the resort which the staff use golf carts to help move luggage, or you can walk or borrow a bicycle to get around. The pool and our tent overlooked the lake which was lovely. The nature setting is beautiful, and you’re surrounded by a range of different animal, bird and insect sounds in the evening and morning. We stayed in a deluxe Savannah tent which was great - a really cute experience. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of space for a short stay, the shower was pleasant, and the tent had all the amenities we needed. The on site restaurant was nice and we particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet which had an egg station, steamed buns, a small candy selection, and a pasty warmer (besides all the standard offerings). We only stayed for two nights to go on a day tour to Khao Yai national park but wished we had stayed longer.

ThailandBreakfast was terrible. Boiled sausages and ham sat in water. Restaurant was overpriced and poor quality.
Great location and blends in with the local environment, unlike the countless themed hotels in the area that spoil the feel of a national park. Nice tents, big, good pool, bikes to ride and lovely cafe
