Went to lanta for some down time and rest so this place was perfect. Rooms (villa) was big; clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Had 2 really good Thai massages Breakfast was good. Loved the beach chairs/beds that were right at the property line to beach. A lot of shade there also so I could pick sun or shade.

Some aspects are a bit tired and need decorating but this doesn’t detract from the overall experience.

Right on the beach, the resort is pure luxury. The pools are beautiful and the sun loungers suspended over the beach make it special. Just 10 minute drive from Sala Dan Pier.

The room where we stayed probably needs a small refresh.

The resort is nicely located. Staff is super nice. The beach access is very good, with showers available. The bar of the hotel is great serving cocktails on demand. In this season there was plenty of space and chairs to lay down facing the beach, under the pleasant shade of the trees. We had a big family room with a pool for a great price. Breakfast was good. There are several dining options within 5 min walk outside of the hotel. We liked the place.

There was a large ledge around the bed which was a bit of a pain especially getting in & out of bed! Taxis were expensive from both hotel & outside of hotel - best use bolt booking in advance!

Large clean room with private private plunge pool & outdoor private shower! Large comfortable bed, wifi good, 30 second walk from room to breakfast restaurant and beach/beach bar! There are 3 pools, main one near reception, we always found a sunbed! Massages available - 600 baht for a deep tissue for 1 hour which was good & worth the money! Breakfast was okay with choice of eggs, salad, fruit, bread, yoghurts and cooked selection! Nice comfy pod seats available on the beach to watch the sunset with a cocktail, special cocktail of the day was 100 baht for a certain time period! Food/drinks can be ordered from the beach bar and delivered to you in the pod seats! It was low season when we travelled so not lots of restaurants open near the hotel but if you walked about 10 mins down the road, there a few nice ones to try and a mini market near the restaurants too!

We had an issue with flies in our room however the morning after we spoke to reception and they changed our room and after that there was no issues. The location would be good in high season however in low season Koh lanta as a whole is quiet and not a lot is open

We absolutely loved our stay at Lanta Sands Resort. The villa was very spacious, and the outdoor plunge pool and shower were such a wonderful bonus that made our stay extra special. The resort is right on the beach and we really enjoyed relaxing on the beach beds with the sea right in front of us. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the location was ideal, just a short walk to plenty of great restaurants. We truly didn’t want to leave and would love to return some day!

The buffet breakfast omelette station was a bit ordinary for the price per night of the bungalow

I had an ocean view bungalow with pool access from my room which was fantastic. Out of bed and into the pool which was shared with 3 other bungalows. I was there in the low season so two bungalows unoccupied which was great.

10/10 experience in Lanta Sand. The hotel is well taken care of in every aspect. Rooms are spacious and clean, the hotel surrounds are green and quiet. During the low season it's very calm and peaceful. Nice beach and good restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful in every situation. Always smiling and giving good tips what to do in Lanta. Special thanks to View at the beach bar to make the stay memorable for me. I truly enjoyed the stay, thank you! Everything just works at Lanta Sand and it has been the best hotel I have stayid my travels all-around Asia. It is clear that the management do great work to keep the hotel top tier.

If pressed, the restaurant food in the evening was just average. We ate there because it’s low season so literally everywhere else on the beach is closed for food. I’d imagine it’s definitely worth a walk down the beach in high season though.

The beach front location, with the beach bar, pool and particularly the sun loungers and day beds is second to none. We spent the days lying on the loungers taking in the sun and sound of the waves just feet away. Apart from that the property is gorgeous. The room was huge and we had our own pool on the balcony! The staff were brilliant too, friendly and were always there to help. Also the breakfast was excellent too, lots of choice!

We had absolutely incredible stay at Lanta Sand Resort & Spa - I can’t praise this resort and staff enough. The food was amazing, staff extremely kind, caring and helpful, smiling all the time and it was clear to see that they truly care about the happiness and satisfaction of their guests. We had a villa with plunge pool, everything was clean and perfect. Since it was our honeymoon, we had a cute bed decoration at our arrival, as well as a surprise from my husband during our stay, when he asked the hotel to prepare another room decoration that I found when we returned from a trip - our room was full of flowers - it was absolutely amazing! We also highly recommend a floating breakfast. :) Sending special greetings to Dach and Merry, both made our stay a little bit more special with their kindness and helpfulness. Overall, this hotel really goes beyond and above in their service and guest care and we can’t wait to be back next year! THE BEST STAY EVER 🫶

Very nice resort. Direct to the beach. Close to a lot of restaurantes and minimart's. Staff very helpful and sweet. We got upgraded to a bungalow for no extra charge. Spa on the resort has a relaxing atmoshphere and the massage is professionel and skilled. I truely recommed this place. Go there and relax. You won't be sorry 😃😃

The hotel is incredible. We had booked just one night, but after seeing the peace and beauty of the hotel, we decided to change our plans and stay two more nights. We had a pool in our room, great food, and very friendly staff, especially the guy on the afternoon shift. On the last day, we had an excursion and then a flight, so the hotel let us take a shower for free so we could be comfortable on our travels. Very grateful!! We recommend it and will return!

Great location, great food, great staff, spacious room close to everything - pools, gym, spa, restaurant(A004), loved the plunge pool in my room(didn’t think I would use it but I did many times!) You can walk into town (either way) VERY pleasant stay!
