Ok... the room was clean and the pool was nice. The cafe/beachfront area not so nice. No sunbeds allowed on the beach, so all the sunbeds were under the roof and cramped very close together side by side. Location very close to the pier.

Our stay at Lanta Summer House was comfortable and we found the location to be great as it was beach front.  Our room was set at the back of the property, was a good size with a balcony. Bungalows are also available. There was a good size pool in the centre of the complex surrounded by the Bungalows Breakfast was available with 5 chioces and with the restaurant facing the beach,  mornings were always a delight. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They helped with tour bookings as well as motorbike rentals.

It felt like a retirement home and probably it is. Not only the residents are old, everything was old. From little things like the plastic chair to the overall look & feel. Unfortunately the room had a weird smell and the pillow was some tempura copy cat what was very uncomfortable but if we had asked they would probably change it.

Very friendly stuff and if you are in your 65+ years then this is the place to be. We had our room directly in front of the beach.

Was right on the beach and the pool was clean and refreshing with lots of sun and chairs. The bungalos were nice and roomy with a big deck. The staff were very nice with great service. The scooter was easy to rent at 250 baht per day.

I had a room in the block at the back of the complex. Right by the bike / tuk ruk park. Lots of coming and going early and late. Sadly staff did nothing to help when I was attacked by an angry older German man for removing his towel from an otherwise empty sun lounger. ( all loungers were empty except for towels laying claim!) He ran from his breakfast to push me over! Shocking. I am a solo female traveller in my mid 60's and did not expect to be attacked by another guest and nobody do anything. After his breakfast he didn't even use the lounger, it remained empty until much later in the day! This practice needs to stop!

Comfortable bed, pillows and big room. Nice location of complex on beach. Food ok, you need to pre order evening meal. I only had breakfast there. PLenty of resturants on beach and short walks inland. 30 minute hot walk into Saladan. Nice clean reasonable size pool but you do need swim goggles as the water hurts the eyes.

The food wasn't great, but there are plenty of other options around. The wifi was patchy, but we had sim cards with data. So basically any problem could be overcome easily.

Good value for money, located on the beach, with helpful staff. While we were staying there, we overheard a guest complain that it wasn't luxurious enough. But you get what you pay for. It's cheap and cheerful.

The bungalows are a little tired,for the cost of a simple decorate the rooms would look so much better.

The location was excellent right on the beach with wonderful sunsets.The staff were friendly and helpful. Nice pool area.Good breakfast ,yoghurt with muesli and fruit was a simple tasty change.Lots of great restaurants and bars on the beach. Really enjoyed our stay would stay again 😊

Rooms are adequate but a little dated.

The complex is clean and the pool is just great. The staff are friendly as you would expect in Thailand. Great location right on the beach with access to main road areas.
