IndiaThe mattress and pillows are quite soft to our liking. TV doesn't have option to connect to Netflix, YouTube which is surprising as even 3 star hotels provide this these days.
Fabulous luxury resort, a little away from main city and close to the river. The view from the hotel is awesome. As you would expect from Marriot Bonvoy hotels, service, amenities, ambience are all top class. The property is huge and have lot of spots to take nice photos. The swimming pool is big and one section overlooks the river. The view of sunset from pool is amazing. The water is not cold so even when it was drizzling lightly we enjoyed at pool. The room is very spacious and they provided a complimentary extra bed for our son which is much appreciated. Balcony is spacious and has a good view of the property. The bathroom is spacious and has a bathtub. Bathroom door doesn't have a lock, not sure why it's done that way. Room has all amenities you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The property is huge so its good walk to reception area or pool. Also easy to get lost as it's all similar looking. Overall it's a fantastic property to chill and have a quiet time.

Hong KongIt is little far from the city center and you need to take taxi from the hotel. But you can use Grab easily and it’s only about 10mins ride.
Super spacious and cozy room. Loved the terrace and the bed. There are 2 restaurants (Thai and Italian) and cafe/ bar in the hotel, and all of them offered very good foods and drinks. The staff were very nice and friendly. I had Spa treatment which was excellent and my boyfriend enjoyed the gym facilities. It’s quiet and chilled place, and we you enjoyed our relax time there.

United StatesOur stay was overall good though got off to a very rough start. We arrived at Chiang Rai airport and were planning to take a Grab to the resort when a driver walked up to us, holding a Le Meriden placard, and said he was there to take us to the hotel....he never asked our names and we told him we had not scheduled a transfer. Still, he insisted and took our bags to the van and took us to the hotel. While in the van, I checked our booking and, again, told the driver that we hadn't booked transportation...he kept driving. Once at the resort, they wanted to charge us the full amount of the transfer fee (600Baht so we negotiated down to 400Baht since the Grab would have only been 282Baht). It was a terrible way to start our relaxing stay as we just felt scammed and over-charged when it was unnecessary. The only other comment I have here is that there were a TON of mosquitoes in our room when we arrived - I'm guessing from the door being open during cleaning. We've stayed at other properties in the region that were much less expensive where the mosquito population was controlled a bit better and repellent was readily available in the room and throughout the property. This was not the case at Le Meridien and management should look at options to rectify this. In the meantime, guests should bring their own (which we luckily did) else wise they'll be suffering the bites they'll get during sleeping.
The property was beautiful, well kept, and luxurious without feeling stuffy. The room we booked was large and had a wonderful view. The breakfast was fantastic with several choices of western, asian, middle eastern as well as made to order. We were there in low season and it was very quiet, which we wanted as a break from our busy vacation schedule. Luckily, there were fabulous restaurants in walking distance nearby so we had plenty of choices for meals.

The hotel staff deserves special praise—they were always smiling, incredibly helpful, and genuinely engaged in making our stay perfect. Our spacious and spotless room, along with excellent room service, made our stay even more comfortable. Beyond the hotel, it served as an ideal base for exploring the beautiful region of Chiang Rai.
