LOADS OF BEDBUGS beds rock hard Told staff that I wasn’t staying here because of bedbugs, refused to give me a new bed or a refund

    Property response:

Sorry for the discomfort; we'll work to improve.

    Good position

I paid for a double room with terrace and view, and they gave me a small room WITHOUT ANY WINDOW! it's a shame

    Property response:

I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but let me explain. The room you booked is a room with no window and no balcony, which is exactly as described.

Hanger in your bunk to hang your towel Nice common space to hang out There is a kitchen area where you can cook

Too many signs everywhere (the floor, the walls, everywhere) telling us what not to do. Seemed excessive. The staff were rude, both the night and day staff. One of the members even rolled their eyes at me when I told them that I forgot my key card inside the room. Breakfast was just a half toast, sausages, and eggs. If you wanted more, you'd have to pay. The bathroom was not that clean

    - Good location- close to the old town, pier and lots of restaurants/cafes - Shower/toilets were always very clean

    - Bed was very hard and not very comfortable - Room wasn’t particularly soundproof (not a big problem though)

The breakfast is just perfect for having something to start your day. Very good location close to the bus stop where you can take the bus to the airport and other places of Thailand. There are plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby.

Customer had problems with their stay since check-in. They misunderstood the room type, claimed that they had booked another type, made various excuses to request a room upgrade, pick our drinks in the refrigerator for sale without paying, and had problems with the keycard deposit, claiming that they had paid deposit more than they would get back.

Sooo clean! And the stuff was amazingly polite. 60 bath on a bike to the harbour-nice. Next to the property plenty of food and massages

No window in the room, I don’t remember reading about that… but it was ok for sleeping only. Very strong fragrance smell in the room… but stuff was sorry and tried to figure out why. We didn’t understand 🤣

I liked this home away from home so much I stayed in the same bunk for two months!!! I'm a 65 year old traveler who just retired and had never stayed in a Hostel before. When I saw it online, I thought, POSHTEL... that's me!!! Posh on a budget, that is... 😆 🤣 😂. I'm writing another book and wanted this experience so I booked for a week and ended up falling in love with the staff, opportunity to meet mostly young people from around the globe and have easy access to all the sights, restaurants and a short busride to the other side of the island where I went snorkeling several times a week. Kim, the manager, became my adopted daughter because she was so awesome...she really cared about me and helped me with my computer, booking trips (she saved me a LOT of money) and made sure the grab bikes went slow so they didn't scare me...she was stern advocate for my well being! 😀 the General Manager, Balizfeun, made friends with me, and we hung out in the spotless, cool lobby where guests played pool, board games, and made new friends! Kim's daughter and sister worked there and kept everything super clean with Bo and Foo, who all seemed to be good friends and cooked us breakfast in the morning 🌄. Mama,an older woman, came in several times a week to do the heavy cleaning, which contributed greatly to the overall emaculate condition of my home. The other front desk woman, Pemika , was super with computers and helped me with technical issues and booking travel with a cheerful, generous attitude 😀 and attention to detail so I didn't panic when I got confused...I'm old...the place was super social AND quiet while the guests respected quiet hours and made lifelong friend!it felt like Summer Camp for adults! I highly recommend this gem for all ages and agendas!
