How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

WiFi dropped out at times but not for long
Surprisingly good, room was very nice, big comfy bed, huge pool. I was only there for one night as a sort of emergency accommodation and was very happy with it.

The staff were not helpful on arrival after we had requested a bed for our child. And she said oh sorry house keeping have gone home

It was a 2min walk to airport which was fantastic, there were son many local Thai kitchens and so much street food in the area which was fantastic, the buffet breakfast was great. The pool was lovely and the national park was so close by

It smelt like sewerage when the aircon was on Shower drain came completely off Pool didn’t look clean like it was in the pics (didn’t swim cause I didn’t want to get sixk Breakie was not very good unfortunately, little breakfast options which ran out quite quickly and weren’t replaced. Aircon inside was very loud plus aircon unit on verandah was even louder The bed was two singles pushed together which made it difficult to sleep in the middle of the deb
Front desk lady was lovely which was great Cheap airport shuttle upon request which was great Big bed was great Free water which was great 711 down the stweet which was great

Room doesn’t have shear curtains so if you want a day light ,you have to face room across and you can see through everything! Aircon is a disaster, smells and noisy , we woke up with blocked nose . Breakfast was not good .
The receptionists are very kind and very helpful.

Room was not clean on arrival: water and toothpaste marks around mirror, sink, taps, shower door. Floors still had sand/hair around. Some dust on bedside tables. Also had to report to reception twice that my keys were not working.
Good size room. Staff very helpful

The kit in the gym I think is in a dangerous and unsafe condition. Please fix it as it has some good kit for your visitors to enjoy.
The pool was very nice and the facilities were good. But I am becoming more disabled with time (we have been to the Maya Hotel about four times each time we come every two years to Thailand. If I could make three suggestions they are: (1) Have a grab rail fitted in the showers - it gives people something to hold on to while they are in the shower. It is even a good safety feature, even for those people who are not disabled. It prevents them from slipping. (2) Have a disabled toilet installed at ground floor level. (3) Even though I am disabled, I still like to use exercise equipment in the Gym and I have always used your gym. But I think it needs to be serviced by an experience and qualified gym kit engineer, because it is not feel safe and a user could be injured. At home in the UK I go to the gym every week so I do know about these things (I am also a retired Engineer)

Needed a few more bikes. Wanted to cycle down to the beach but only one bike available.
Close to the airport and walking distance to the beach. Huge pool which was easy to get in and out of. Bed was very big.

Power cut at 4.00 am shutting off Aircon ,lights etc. struggled to sleep due to people talking load and slamming doors etc. Aircon was loud.
The pool was clean and nice, breakfast was good.
