How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Good location. Self service Pan, stove, eggs and bread make whipping up an omelette to go with the free coffee and drinks is a great bonus. Friendly helpful staff

Feels like a BnB, well decorated warm house like feeling. Sponsor lady is helpful. They have do it yourself breakfast. Located near to bus terminal

Awesome !!! Lovely Quiet Comphy Clean nicely and tastefully decorated 🙏 This place is in a quiet area, very close to everything — all within walking distance. It has a lot of charm and great taste in decoration and paintings. Super clean. The people working there are genuinely kind and speak good English. It’s easily one of the best homestays I’ve stayed at, and I travel a lot. No-brainer. Next time I’m here, I’m going straight back.

The bathroom could have been a little more clean but thats about it.
We only stayed one night but it was nice! Free water and coffee etc. Bed was very comfortable. The host let us check out half an hour later which was much appreciated.

Nothing really, decent place and good value for money
Clean and spacious room with good amenities. Quiet and well located a short walk from night bazar and shopping. Make your own breakfast with eggs was nice!

Bathrooms are a little dated but not a bother. Top rooms will take a bit longer to cool down it helps to be aware otherwise can be frustrating why the room isn't cooling down.
I came here 6 years ago and loved it. This time it was no different, super comfortable and no different from the first time. Most importantly the rooms are clean, bed is comfortable, pillows just right. The staff are attentive, super helpful and most importantly welcoming.

Very friendly staff! Very welcoming 🙏 The location is great, very close to the bus station. The room and bathroom were very clean. Hot shower, but unfortunately the pressure is quite low. Please improve that. Otherwise it’s perfect!

Nothing major, no deal breakers for us. There were no chairs, only bean bags in the room and the shower was a bit small. Otherwise everything was ok.
Location of the hotel was great, it was within walking distance of the bus station and night market. Room was good, there was enough space and there was a place available for breakfast. AC was working well. We were able to drop the bags off before checking in and the room was ready before official check in time. Overall would recommend this room and would stay here again.

The TV doesn’t have any international movie channels or smart TV functions (for Netflix…). It may be advisable to bring a smart TV stick with you. I bought one at Central Plaza there. :-)
Quiet nice little resort in central location. Supermarkets and nice restaurants nearby.

Spacious room, comfy bed, hot water is working fine and it is very welcome for the cool nights in Chiang Rai. Location is perfect near bus station and bars and restaurants. Friendly staff, very helpful. For the price, it is more than perfect!

Nothing it was all great!
What an amazing place to stay, tucked away down a quiet lane but only a few minutes to the main streets and night Bazaar. Spotlessly clean, colourful, quirky. Great that you can help yourself to breakfast, make eggs, toast, jams and bananas, coffee machine available too. What’s not to love!

Great property! Very spacious rooms and extremely clean. Lovely decor & comfy beds. DIY breakfast is a great touch and good facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the Location is perfect and close walk to night market and shops!
