The shower pressure can be quite low but this is common on islands.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. Great chill out area, short walk from the beach and restaurants. The owners are some of the best people you’ll meet. All round great hostel. Beds are in private capsules, akin to a Japanese capsule hotel. Easy to socialise.

This hostel is super clean and the staff is so nice! So close to the beach and food spots! It’s super laid back and a great way to meet other solo travelers.

I loved how big the dorms were, the bathroom was also spacious. The whole hostel has a very cozy island vibe to it. Golf the owner was also exceptional, super friendly and fun, we even went fishing!

Hollie and Golf (not even mentioning Bamboo, the loveliest doggo manager ever) are just one of the bestest human beings I’ve ever met with! They are adorable, caring, fun and sooo welcoming! The location is more than perfect, the matress and pillow couldn’t be more perfect and the porch, the lovely porch is just the bestest place for hanging out, working, chilling and making new friendships!

Absolutely nothing

There's nothing I can say that is bad about Sundaze, not only is the vibe/atmosphere perfect but the owners Holly & Golf are the most amazing people and so caring. If you want to join a little family and have the best experience of the island then this is the place for you, not too lively like a party hostel but stil also much fun for people who want to experience everything the island has to offer and come home to a comfy and well conditioned dorm. Perfect location, hippie pizza just down the road is great and so close to some amazing beaches! You absolutely cannot regret booking here.

It's such a great overall vibe! The location was perfect, the facilities were super cool and comfortable, and I loved that you could have your privacy when you wanted and socialised with the super nice and helpful owners & other guests staying there. I would definitely recommend it!

GO GO GO HERE!!! Golf, best host ever. Comfy room, super clean, no problem with mixed dorm. Everyone has its own space to sleep, like a little capsule and a locker for storage. Showers, bath super clean and comfortable. Golf is just lovely host - A local, he know almost everything and helps you if you need something. If you don't go you'll miss something. The island is also just lovely.

The hostel is well located, walkable from the pier even with a very heavy backpack. It’s next to all the shops with plenty of bars and restaurants for the evenings. The main beach is just at the end of the street with loads of other lovely little beaches and bays that you can reach by scooter or walk if it’s not too hot. The vibe is very sociable without being a party hostel. The outside area makes it easy to meet people and gives you somewhere nice to sit with a book and a beer. The little snuggies/ rooms/ whatever that you sleep in are a generous size with enough space to sit up properly and room to keep some bits in there with you. The bathroom is clean and everything works perfectly with 4 showers and 3 toilets between a maximum of 10 people. Golf is THE BEST host on the planet, always went above and beyond to look after us. He’s so kind and generous and up for a laugh- he really made the trip for me. I planned to stay for 3 night but ended up extended my stay because it couldn’t get enough of the slow paced island life here. Ko Samet was never on my list to visit but after staying here it has a place in my heart and I would recommend it to anyone.

I It's a shame that we can't use the small kitchen behind the counter a little more easily.

Nice location. Friendly staff The atmosphere is very relaxed and quiet. The alcove is simple and very comfortable. The shower is functional, but I would have liked to have a shower gel/shampoo dispenser. I thank the staff for the padlock that I did not have with me

Very Clean and comfortable dorm room with space outside to dry wet clothes. The hostel owners were fantastic and I love Bamboo (the cutest dog the outside lounge was a great place to chill out in the evening with the other guests… my favorite hostel in Thailand ❤️

It is in a perfect location to walk from the port and then to the beach. It is a zany happy clean place that as a single older female traveller I felt safe. Shared showers and WC’s all clean. All the other people staying seemed very nice and helpful

I wasn't a huge fan of the shower situation, it's just shower curtains and isn't lockable cubicles like you'd get in most hostels. Totally personal preference but I would have preferred either lockable doors, or for the shower blocks to be split into male and female. Other than that everything was great!

Fun little set up and in the most excellent location in the middle of the main street. Loved the seating area out the front, a great spot to sit and watch the world go by with a book. The guy that runs it is so lovely and friendly!

Great hosts, as a solo traveler they made me feel very welcome. Thanks for letting me spend New Year’s Eve with you and your family. My only regret is not getting to say goodbye when I left. Will stay again next visit.

The wooden door to the bed gives you a sense of privacy - it's like being in your own tiny room! In general, everything was great! Great owners and the people who lived in the hostel were so great too! Nice place with a nice vibe)
