You need a bike. Not a negative as such, but hire one.

Very secluded, wonderful little hideaway on the sea. Bungalows just above the water, friendly staff, food available in the restaurant. The snorkeling is amazing! Lots of coral, sea turtles and fish.

No hot water, air con broke day 2, no wifi in rooms. Have to take this place with a pinch of salt, we still loved it but it was an experience!

It is located on a very beautiful private beach, the sunsets and views are beautiful. The staff was very helpful even drove us down to the pier when i left my bag and gave us umbrellas when it rained

What an absolute perfect start for our Koh Tao experience! The bungalow was so cozy, the area beautiful and scenic, the private beach an absolute dream, the food at the restaurant super tasty and the staff so lovely, sweet and helpful. It is a bit further away so getting to places you always need a taxi or a scooter, but other than that the location is also very good and peaceful.

We staid in the tree house so there is maintenance needed, there was lots of construction work going on wish we were made aware of this as it was very loud. If you don’t want to ride a bike like us the it is very exact with taxi as there is no grab and not a lot around

We loved the beach right next to it and we saw a turtle so totally made the trip. The breakfast and food was nice but very minimal. Staff where lovely and couldn’t do more to help

We had the deluxe double bed seaview and it was beautiful as was the little beach! It‘s location is far off from the main street which is both positive and negative. It is quiet and peaceful but if you want to go eat you either it at the restaurant at the hotel which is not bad or you have to take a taxi.

The rooms are fine and pleasent, but could use some renovation here and there.

Breakfast is great, location is great (do need a scooter, taxi will work too), the staff is very friendly and helpfull. You can rent a scooter, snorkelset and kajak for one or multiple days at the resort. The location is quiet and very relaxed, but within 7 minute scooter ride you’ve a lot of restaurants and shops. Beautiful views and the beach in front of the resort is great.

Some little maintenance jobs to do, but working hard to fix and update surroundings. Lovely little family run resort cabins. I stayed in one of the deluxe seaview rooms it all added to the charm of a little private getaway.

The location is just stunning, little private beach, very quiet and tranquil. Can kayak and snorkel away from the crowds 🤿 Very friendly welcoming staff, delicious food.

If I have to name one thing, I would say the location. If you know how to ride a scooter, please rent the scooter to the resort. Otherwise, there are some mountain roads for you. I am a scooter rider, and I need quite place to avoid tourist, PD resort is perfect for me and my bf!

1. Staff is super friendly and helpful! It looks like a family business 2. There’s a beautiful private beach with two cool bamboo beds. 3. The room is divided from all other room. You might need to climb some stairs, but with good privacy. 4. The owner has many cute caaats 🥰 5. You will be having breakfast right next to the ocean if you choose the plan with breakfast. 6. Lastly, the whole place is far away from the crowds. For me, it is 10/10!!! We will be back soon!!!

Very basics bungalows and quite old. Certainly not worth 3 stars (except for the location). Air conditioned was not working correctly in one of the rooms (but we got a discount after asking) . Needs a bit of refurbishement, new sheets etc...

When arriving this comes as a shock (you can see it on the face of all new couples that arrive), everything around the beach and around the resort is trashed, looks like an abandoned part of the island, can't believe those remaining on this part of the island don't organise a proper cleanup. When arriving the pier taxi mob will charge you ridiculous 400bhat for 3,5km transfer. Breakfast has lots of space to improve especially for the money.

Actually has a private paradise beach, The resort offers free kayaks, The view from the rooms is great. Quiet and secluded. The place offers you free transport to the pier twice a day (when going to the power).

The hills to get to the hotel were very steep and taxis charged extra for this. There are a lot of steps to the reception and rooms so just be mindful

They should pre warn you of the the location - when I tell you the hills are that steep even some taxis are too scared to go down them, unless you are VERY confident riding a scooter or managed to find a few places walking distance then you’ll struggle. The AC kept breaking and because the reception closes at 9pm, one evening we had to sleep with no AC which was a struggle in the heat. The shower had like zero power and would rarely run hot. Thing is a lot of this could be overlooked if the price reflected this and there was some pre warning but for what I paid per night compared with other hotels I’ve stayed at the standard was not there. Also it feels like you’re in a work site as you hear building works constantly, also even when you get to the property you have to climb down the steepest steps with your luggage - they helped when they realised we were there but yeah it all just doesn’t feel very well thought about it user friendly.

The view and being that close the the beach was beautiful and great sunsets but that’s where the good ends.

It is not a resort. When we arrived there was building work still going on which definitely put a negative aspect on our stay. Also the room overlooked a shed roof which wasn’t what I expected from the photos. The shower was constantly running freezing cold. The beach was full of rubbish and the paths leading to the beach was unfinished. When I went to reception for a drink they literally had 3-4 bottles of liquor to choose from. We were so remote from anything we rented a moped which was a huge help and they only charged us 350BHT. I expected a lot more from my stay. P.D resort. It could be a great place to stay when everything is finished but until then you can’t charge the current price. We spent our last day in Ko Tao at a resort close to the pier. It was cheaper, had a massive pool, next to the beach and the breakfast had plenty to choose from.

If you want to be remote and away from everything then this is the place for you.

Let's keep in mind that it was supposed to be a RESORT and that we paid 87 euros per night !!!!!!  We stayed for three nights and Nobody appeared not even once to clean up the room. The towels were dirty and worn out (see the pictures) There was not a table or a chair IN the room to put something on (for example our clothes, our keys, our sunglasses). We had to ask for some hangers for our clothes. There WAS NOT HOT water at the shower not even one day. The shower faucet was ready to break. The surrounding space of the "Resort" looked like a warehouse, was neglected and messy (although was sweeped every day) . Everything reflected an atmosphere of decadence. The breakfast was very very basic and poor. Maybe we could pass by some of all these if we had paid 30 euros per night. But it cost 87 euros per night !!!!  Outrageous !!!

Everything was perfect but I wouldn’t recommend riding a motorbike around there unless you’re an experienced driver because the hills leading to the resort are very steep!

This is the most incredible place I have ever stayed, my partner and I loved it so much that we stayed an extra two nights! The room was comfy and clean, the view from the balcony was stunning and the beach was amazing for relaxing and snorkelling. The food in the restaurant was so delicious we never ate anywhere else and the staff went above and beyond to cater to my peanut and sesame allergy. The people working there were delightful and so attentive and helpful and they have so many friendly cats and kittens around. We can’t wait to go back!
