It was a basic box room with a mattress. We did have ants crawling around the windows at night.

However, the whole place didn't feel very welcoming. The Cafe (Lalamal) is the main attraction here and staff wasn't really caring about us as guests. The cottage was nice enough with a small terrace, but hardly any privacy as it was right next to the cafe, staff and workers always running around, a construction side right in front of the terrace. Felt not very nice and relaxing. The Cafe is beautiful, but they play absolutely terrible mainstream pop covers all day long on repeat so from 8-20 you won't have a quiet minute unless you like trash music and construction side noise. However, we found a way to feel comfortable there and just enjoy it as what it is, but the cottage definitely would need more love and attention and the staff could be more attentive too. It felt a bit like just trying to make money and not really loving what they do. The cottage was a bit dark with not so nice lighting and the bathroom had no shelf whatsoever, so you couldn't leave any toiletries in there at all.

We liked the location a bit outside of Pai madness. It's nice sunset views and trails around and some nice little local restaurants on the road (Yellow's Curry house we loved and the Thai green milk tea from the lady next to it!). It's a 20 min walk to town which was fine for us.

The room we stayed in was small, I couldn’t stand up, with just a mattress (even though that was comfy). The shared bathroom could do with just some freshening up every now and again.

The staff were incredible, they were hard working & kind. They were all women staff which made it a safe and homely environment. The inside/outside areas you could use all day, the food was great and the view was the best in Pai.

Bathroom was very dirty with blocked drains. Location is 20 uphill walk from town but fine if you’re happy to walk or hire a bike

The bathroom downstairs could be a bit cleaner but it's to be expected when sharing with 3 rooms.

Incredible views of Pai, great for watching the sunset with a drink. Very friendly staff and delicious food in the cafe. About 20 minutes on foot to get into the centre of Pai. The room was clean and comfortable with a strong fan so it never got too warm.

Building work on site was bit noisy and disturbed the view. The attic room is very small and has low ceiling and the stairs down to the bathroom are a little unsafe. But comfortable for a couple of nights for fair price.

The bathroom could’ve been cleaner and it was around a 30 minute walk to town which we didn’t mind, but it’s worth noting especially when you don’t have a moped

Lala was an amazing host, so friendly and chatty with us. When we arrived she gave us a welcome drink aswell. Amazing view and the restaurant was lovely with fab food which was well priced:)

The view was amazing, the room was very comfortable and a great size, the staff were so friendly and welcoming and we had such a great time we extended our stay from 3 nights to 7 so definitely worth every penny and is the best place to stay in Pai!

Best view in town in a super chill cafe/restaurant. It was a really peaceful stay, we enjoyed since first minute there. Lovely service, delicious coffee, nice and clean room, you wake up with the sound of nature. The room was fresh at night perfect to sleep with the fan and the window open with the mosquito net (may 2024)

Best place to stay in Pai! Facilities are super modern and clean, the lady who holds this place and the staff are all lovely and kind. Breakfast is amazing and and the coffees served there are delicious! We'll come back for sure to look at this view from the Cafe again

The bungalow we stayed was closest to the road. No window shading from bright night lighting and thin walls lead to some sleepless times during the night. Water heater did not work either. Bed is quite hard.

Great common areas with a good view of the town. Nice staff. Enjoyable music. They also offer beverages and food to purchase at reasonable prices.
