How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The apartment was very tired. The curtains did not draw fully closed in either the Bedroom or sitting room. I had to take one certain from the sitting room to add it to the Bedroom for privacy and to close out fully during the night. The standard of cleaning was poor. Walking about in bare feet (Thai culture) meant dirty feet!!! Furniture in the room very poor and did not allow full use of the windows/views or sitting out on the balcony

Absolutely everything, because the property is managed by an uneducated and manner less so called manager from India by name BASU. The owner of the property is also and Indian who is completely hidden from everywhere and not in picture at any time. This stupid manager will make you regret for booking this property.

Be careful with the pictures from booking.com for which room you receive..our room was disgusting to begin with..dirty walls ,curtains and no air con in 1 bedroom..The Lady managing the room was very rude and wanted cash on arrival for the full stay..even though the booking was made via credit card ???? Finally moved to a new room on the 3rd day ,which was the original we booked from the pictures ...

Everything, I left the property 2 hours after check in. I was so disappointed. For starters, it’s not a hotel, it’s AIRBNB, you rent direct from the owner. The unit was run down, in need of freshening up. It was smelly, needed fresh air, and smelt like cigarette. Wardrobes were old and broken, one had a dirty pair of socks. Balcony door didn’t slide without strong force. Both beds were uncomfortable, the blankets were not adequate size. There was no extra blankets, pillows or towels. Bathroom smelt like mould. Washing machine spelt like mould. Toilet kept running. The building fob didn’t work in the lift for the floor, leaving us to fix it.

They do not have credibility in dealing with customers, and you will also be surprised if your apartment is rented to someone else without any prior notice. The furniture is old, very old, and there is no cleanliness.

Verified reviewThe ONLY good thing at this property was the view. Literally, nothing else.
The room was extremely worn down. Wrong room type given, everything was broken, not cleaned. We didn't get towels until 11pm. Cockroach traps in the wardrobes. Would have been softer to sleep on the floor. You could feel the springs pushing into you in the bed. Bathroom fan was filthy and covered in dust, hasn't been cleaned in years it looks like. Host wanted 10% surcharge on card payments, eventually they charged 4% surcharge when it should be 0. The upside was booking.com help us cancel after the first night. They also said there should be no surcharge.

Women that clean apartment not do nothing if you not call her . Often said I’m holiday and can give towels and clean apartment. 1 times changed bed cover in 10 days .
