NetherlandsThe big downside is the pool. It’s very outdated and really unsafe. Tiles come loose and flip up when you walk on them, and mosaic pieces at the entrance break off into the water. Our kids ended up with bad cuts, even with a piece stuck in a foot; lots of blood, stress and difficult recovery afterwards. Instead of building new houses, the owner should first fix the pool. It may not attract more guests, but it will at least ensure safety and prevent accidents and injuries. A pool in this condition is completely unacceptable. It puts guests at serious risk, and an owner who allows this should not even be running a hotel.
A beautiful location on a mountain with nice view. The staff are very friendly, speak good English, and are always helpful. The rooms are cleaned spotlessly every day. The shuttle service to the beaches is very ideal, and the 420 Club Koh Phangan restaurant, just a five-minute walk away, is highly recommended.

Israelsince it's on top of the mountain, it is scarry a bit to ride the scooter down hill and up hill every time that I left the hotel and return, but I overcome the fear and did it! :)
I stayed in the simple wide room with a balcony and also in a more expensive cabin with a view. The simple one was much lovely, as it is big and comfortable. In the cabin the bathroom is less comfortable, although it is new. The staff were amazing, very nice, informative and kind. The pool and view is beautiful, breakfast options are nice. Location is a bit secluded as it is on the top of the mountain, but this is a plus for me, as I don't like the crowded area for sleep, only to hang out. If you have a scooter, it's the best place to stay. I drove throughout the island and had the time of my life in this healing island.

United KingdomThe area is quite isolated. The bathroom is on a lower floor which for us was fine but the place is not very accessible for anyone with mobility issues.
The view is stunning and the staff are super friendly. The bedroom is very comfortable. Bike rental from the hotel was cheap and convenient. The hotel restaurant and bar at the top of the hill both have good food and great views.

South AfricaI do think a little love and affection can be given to the pool area. I think the pool shower, the existing pool bar (even if it doesn't actually function as a pool bar) and garden area needs to be cleaned up nicely. I definitely would not shower in the pool shower because its just dirty. It will make a big difference if all is cleaned up. Also, it's important that the pool umbrellas are put up daily. (During my 6 days, it was a lottery if there was an umbrella or not). Nothing is always perfect, but my accommodation (room U24) was great! My ratings are always based on the price of my room.

SloveniaThe only downside of this romantic resort is the untidy surroundings around the bungalows.
We have visited the accommodation 4 times already, and it still offers an excellent value for money. We stayed in the bungalows with a mountain view. The rooms were tidy, and the towels were changed daily. The breakfast was excellent, though it became a bit monotonous after 3 days. The food at the restaurant was very tasty. Unfortunately, due to extremely bad weather during our stay, we did not use the pool.

AustraliaThe only thing that this property lacks is a perfect location. You HAVE to ride a bike if you want to get around Koh Phangan and stay here at the same time, the hills and location make it impossible to walk anywhere.
Beautiful resort. My partner and I were pleasantly surprised when we walked into our room, spacious and had everything we needed, the pictures definitely do not do this place justice. There is also a handy restaurant on the resort and the staff are very helpful. Also wow, the view is amazing.

Netherlands- Location, you do need a bike to explore - The road on the steep hill right before getting to the hotel needs renewing. Kind of dangerous to me. - Bathroom can also use some renewing here and there - Hot water only when choosing low water pressure in the shower. With higher water pressure water gets colder. - Sort of ants in the room on some places (mostly near the desk), but I guess that is expectable considering the location.
+ Kind and helpful staff, they think along with you + Laundry good price + Hot water in the shower + Free shuttle to 4 beaches and free pick-up + Amazing view from restaurant and good breakfast. + There was something wrong with my lock and they replaced it within a few hours.
