The door to the balcony didn’t shut properly so you get bitten in the night by mosquitoes. The shower pressure is bad. There is a construction site next door that is noisy, but most of koh Tao seems to have this problem. Also the people going up to the jungle party make lots of noise.

Massive room, air con works great. Nice balcony and close to a good supermarket. The laundry is quick and fair price and the dumpling restaurant downstairs is great.

Could be cleaner. Nail clippings and dust everywhere. The toilet seat was mouldy, it cost peanuts to replace it. Dear owner, get it sorted! With a bit of love this place could be great.

The room was not very clean when we reached, it was full of ants and we had to ask for an insecticide. The window was very big, and since it's on the ground floor we felt a bit exposed to other customers.

As many people have mentioned already, the balcony doors can't be closed properly. There is a big gap between them that should be covered by some rubber material or brush- to prevent bugs/lizards during the night. I improvised by putting some tape over it, but generally the owners should take care of it, as many people seem to complain about it - and for a good reason.

Most of the things were pretty good, polite staff, room cleaning upon request, decent facilities. Will probably come again next year.

Youg people like to party hard and staff dont care about noise complain. Also staff is lazy, you have to ask for room cleaning few times. TV was not working.

The size of the room was unexpected! It was big, with big balcony and spacious bathroom. When we arrived we asked for a room on the second on third floor and staff considered our request.

The sliding balcony doors didn’t fully close so bugs could get in. We didn’t feel unsafe as we were on the first floor but was still ok. The rooms weren’t cleaned the entire time we stayed (4 nights) and it was toilet tissues rather than toilet roll which we had to ask for more each time it was gone. None of these things would make me not stay again but just an honest review of the property!

We stayed in a twin room as a couple and just moved the beds. Basic rooms but a lot of space. Had a balcony too which was lovely for the chilling in the late afternoon and evening. The laundry service was fast and good value for money! Near a gym and supermarket, around a 5/10 minute walk to main restaurants and bars but meant it was always quiet so worth the walk!

It wasn’t very clean. We stayed for 4 days in total. Room was not cleaned once. It was very annoying towards the end. Also judging by the other reviews the host was very kind and helpful but we had a different experience. They didn’t seem to have the time for us.

I had a bad water issue, sink in bathroom didn't work (there was another in the living area) and the water pressure of the shower was non existent. Really let the place down

- The location is a little bit out of the way (for Koh Tao), about a 10 minute walk to the beach and the main road

- The room was very spacious (the biggest room we came across in this price range and even slightly above) and had all the basic needs (kettle, mugs, big fridge, aircon and fan) - The bed was comfortable and very big also - There was a lot of storage space, lots of shelves, counter space and a wardrobe to put all of your stuff away and off the floor! - The wifi was super fast - Good and cheap restaurants nearby on the same street, around a 5 minute walk down the road

Bathroom had not been cleaned - toilet seat was not attached to toilet, sink was blocked with loads of little hairs and mirror and walls were filthy. Bed sheets also didn’t look or smell clean, and beds were very hard (we booked a double but were given twin beds). Not a very secure property - we were on the bottom floor and our front door was just off the main road (it was a quiet street but we still felt kind of unsafe). Sometimes when we tried to lock the door it came open again so make sure you double check it when leaving. Staff were very noisy, shouting outside to each other each morning very early which woke us up each day. Host also told us the day before we were leaving that no laundry service was available anymore as she had to wash sheets, so we had to go elsewhere.

Spacious room, good air con & only a short walk to the main town area. The host offered laundry which was affordable and very quick, however this was not available everyday.

there were ants everywhere in the room and the blanket given to sleep with wasn’t big enough to cover your whole body.Someone’s dirty underwear had also been left on our balcony when we arrived

I stayed here for a week, and they did not check the room once during the stay. Dirty towels, trash, no cleaning. Also the staff wasn't always to be found.. I bought toilet paper in the supermarket nearby.

The room wasn’t cleaned daily and we had to ask for it to be cleaned Bottled water isn’t provided daily and there no water refill facility Just a blanket for bedding - should also provide a top sheet or duvet There was no hot water for the duration of our stay (7 days). We raised the problem to staff, and asked someone to check, and they did, but the issue was not fixed. This may have been a misunderstanding given the language barrier. We had to use a boiled kettle to shower and wash up with The toilet seat (room 8) needs replacing (it’s either stained or mould) There was a strange smell in the bathroom for the duration of our stay

The deluxe double room was spacious and had a small kitchenette, a large fridge and kettle The balcony had sea and mountain views which was lovely to wake up to Air-con unit worked well Location was good, around 8-10 min walk from the busy area and bars Long length mirrored wardrobe Bed was firm but fairly comfortable (in comparison to others we’ve stayed in in SE Asia) It was in a quiet and peaceful area and felt very private - good soundproofing They offer laundry service for 40B per kg or 60B per kg if it’s raining (for dryer) there is also bike parking available Overall I would recommend you stay here if you’re looking for budget, private accommodation. I would come again

It wasn't the cleanest when we got in our room. I had to clean the wardrobe which had thick layers of dust, and the floors beside our beds. But I've definitely experienced worse, and I'm used to cleaning accommodation myself when I stay in a budget hotel.

Staff were great and helpful, and even opened the office early morning for us to check in which was nice. The main staff also changed our room to a higher room with a view as we were a longer term stay (we didn't make a fuss or ask, they just offered) which we really loved. The kitchenette was cute and super useful for us. The balcony had a great sunset view. We'd recommend this to anyone. Also it does have WiFi!
