I wasn't too excited about the shared bathroom situation. Of course, that's what I booked(shared bathroom). I just didn't realize how many people were sharing the bathrooms and that they're stalls and the sinks are out in the hallway(by the room doors). Also, the window had to be covered at all times otherwise the entire building was able to look directly into my room from their rooms or balconies(not a big issue for me, but I wouldn't say it has windows). Having said that, I wouldn't have a problem booking again, I would just get a private bathroom next time.

I found the building itself very interesting. I loved the location. The room had an air-conditioner, it was clean. I had no issues with bugs like some reviews mentioned. There is also a good breakfast and laundry for a fair price.

The accommodation is at the north-east side of Bangkok, by the historical centre. For my stay, I booked a small room with double bed. The bathroom with toilet and showers was shared with other guests, at the same floor. The accommodation offers breakfast for 150 bath. There is no possibility to order lunch or dinner. It is a good solution if you are looking for a room for the night, but not for a place where to stay long and relax. There is a common space, but not many comfortable charis. The host is a nice lady that let me keep my backpack there for the day I arrived, for free, while I was waiting for my room to be ready.

It was super cool staying in the old building, bathroom facilities were great and the aircon in the room was wonderful. The shared bathroom was no trouble and good value for money. Staff were comprehensive and swapped out the towels each day

However, there were a few downsides. The room didn’t have a bidet, which I missed. Also, noise from other guests was a problem. One guest was even banging on doors and shouting at 5 AM, which was disruptive. To make matters worse, some guests were smoking outside the rooms, and the smell made its way into our room. Overall, the stay was good, but there’s room for improvement in terms of noise control and air quality.

I really liked the room! It was clean and well-maintained. Housekeeping was available upon request, which I appreciated—they changed the towels and made up the room whenever we needed. The number of power outlets was a huge plus, especially since we were two people with several devices to charge.

Very good, quite location (expect birds and rooster, but I don't mind). Nice staff, delicious breakfast. In room you can find mini fridge, which can be very useful. One minus, that mine room was without a window, orher than that very good place to stay.

It wasn't cosy, the room was ok, clean and simple,everything worked but the hotel feels a bit outdated. The bathroom is tiny with a very tiny shower area. I guess I expected rooms to be a bit nicer according to the pictures.

Location is great, quite street next to everything you need. friendly and helpful stuff, 24hr reception desk! I arrived 4am and there was no problem to check me in (I payed for the night). Comfy bed and real blanket. You have everything you need Quite Aircon!

There was a balcony that you couldn't access from any part of the room. Funny, but useless in my opinion. I don't know why the architect wanted to do that.

Very nice and quiet place, a little further from the Khaosan road, but a good 5 minutes walk. Not many things on that street, but still it had a good sidewalk.

The house is in wood so you can hear every step of people going back and forth. If you use earplugs it's fine

Great Staff, especially the lady at the reception who spoke English. Super location, nice outside area with plants and seats. Old fashion typical Thai house had its charm. Basic breakfast with eggs, fresh fruits, bread and jam, one drink only (coffee or tea or a canned juice) this is OK but if you spend more than one night there, the breakfast becomes a bit repetitive
