The large Thai jungle huts. Great views, very quiet location near the pier. The staff were absolutely fantastic. Everyone that worked there was so lovely.

Breakfast had a good selection Bungalows had a beautiful forest setting with stunning sea views and located on the beachfront with walking distance into the town with all shops, bars and restaurants. 7/11 close by. Hotel offers free transfers Staff and service were amazing!! They take great care of you! Free kayaks in the beach for guests to use. Rooms were very clean and well equipped.

The location of the hotel is close to the area where everything is, but it is still not the central area of the island. The shower with electric water heater looks and feels like a guesthouse and is not suitable for the standard of the room. Very weak water flow

The hotel is in a very beautiful place, in the jungle, so whoever wrote that there are all kinds of animals is right, but it really doesn't bother those who love nature. Take into account that there are rooms that are a little difficult to access (for older people). Two large and pleasant adjacent pools (not crowded with people). The room is overall clean, pleasant and functional.

The second time we visited Tao, we intentionally chose this hotel. Last year, we had a great stay and there was no question about where to stay again. The location is excellent, with wonderful breakfasts, swimming pools are good, and sun loungers on the beach are fine. All in all, it was a pleasant experience. Special thanks and warm greeting to the team in the restaurant for their warm welcome.

The bungalows and pool area are all a little tired, with tiles feeling lifted in the bungalows and chipped /broken around the pool. Also at beach, not enough sun beds, only 2 kayaks for all guests and no paddle boards and no one was ever in the massage hut to enable you to get a massage without trekking up to reception to organise, just to come back down to the beach. Small things but for the amount you pay these should be available.

Breakfast was great, staff were brilliant and super helpful and friendly, location was great at the quiet end of the busy Sairee Beach resort which was perfect for us as a family.

The staff were amazing especially at the restaurant. It's a great spot if you are diving and the pools are wonderful. Accommodation, beds, room etc are all excellent. I extended from four nights to seven.

One waitress at the breakfast gave me sometimes the feeling i'm eating her food. Just a feeling i didn't ask her. Wifi wasn't working for 4 days but i didn't try to fix it with the reception because i have my own internet.

The apartments between the trees and the jungle feeling next to the ocean is great. Our room was like a treehouse. I like it, too many steps for my girlfriend.

Too much detergent used on supplied towels and not rinsed suffiviently but that was the only negative of a very enjoyable and peaceful stay.

Space, quiet, trees and ocean, no TV, breakfasts, On-site motor scooter shop was also great and easy to deal with. Good internet.

Bathroom was a bit tired. Not a problem for us but customers should be aware that the site is on a hillside so there are steps and slopes involved, but without the steps you wouldn't have the great views.

Good standard hotel with a lovely Thai feel. We stayed in Bungalow 2 which had a great patio area with superb views across the bay. Felt very private and exclusive. Provided complimentary shuttle to and from the port which was great, hire of snorkels, scooter hire shop on site. Nice quiet location at the end of the beach. Good value for money.

If you’re wary of bugs I maybe wouldn’t pick these bungalows. We liked the geckos etc but the bathroom did have a few ants / bugs. It didn’t bother us but might be a problem if you don’t like bugs. There were however some beautiful big geckos on the outside of the bungalow and we saw lots of butterflies.

The hotel was close to the pier. Staff were friendly. The bungalows were handy for a family with 2 separate rooms. The bungalows were clean and spacious set in the jungle. Breakfast had lots of options for both adults and children.
