How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

There were some defects in the bathroom. But wont affect much of the stay. Traffic was horrible, tho that’s not the hotel’s fault.

Verified reviewThe hotel was very nice and comfortable however the interior of the room was dated and due an upgrade. Despite this, the shower was the best I’ve had in Thailand over the past 5 weeks of travelling. Friendly staff, as always with Thai’s. Easy access to BTS station.
The room decor does need a refresh. The location is far off the main road however the helpful team will drop you to the end and back as required. We were above the restaurant and early mornings were loud from the tables being set up and people coming in and out, you could hear every slight chair movement across the floor.

Verified reviewThis is a terrific small hotel. It is well located, close to Sukhumvit Road and the Skytrain but 400 metres up a quiet Soi. The 24 hour shuttle service to the main road is a bonus. Our room was clean and comfortable with a great view over the lake, and we really enjoyed the pool and the grounds. A tranquil setting. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. This is now our first choice when we come back to Bangkok.

Verified reviewQuiet yet convenient location not far from Asok BTS. Great pool surrounded by greenery. Room was upgraded. Room had everything I wanted and more. Complimentary tuk tuk service to end of alley was good.
Housekeeping happened later in the day than I am used to (around 3 in the afternoon most days). No mirrors in the elevators. Breakfast buffet was fine, but a few more options would be nice.

Verified reviewGreat location, deep in the heart of downtown Bangkok, but far enough away to be in a quiet, beautiful, relaxed hotel setting. Loved the outdoor pool and the lush gardens surrounding it. Made it seem like we were vacationing in a small, tropical town instead of Bangkok. Staff were super friendly and helpful, this place is truly a diamond in the Bangkok rough.
Construction was going on from connection road to Sukhumvit (main road for Bangkok). It was nice of the hotel to provide shuttle service all day and evening back and forth, but the construction meant the shuttle could only drive us half the way.

Verified reviewThe location is fantastic. Amenities are ok. Swimming pool and breakfast was good. 24 hour Tuk Tuk service from the hotel to the main road was great. Terminal 21 Mall, Asoke and Nana Train Stations are walking distance. Central World Mall is 2 stops away from Nana Station.
Lobby of the hotel is very unimpressive, almost gives the feel of a hostel. The rooms and washrooms are also dated, need upgrade.

Verified reviewSora is super close to Sukhumvit Road, Soi 11, Soi Cowboy, Nana Plaza and all the great nightlife of Bangkok. However it is comfortably remote from all the noise. A tuk tuk takes hotel guests to the main street of Sukhumvit for free 24/7. The rooms are large, cosy and beautifully decorated. The swimming pool is large and really pretty. It is surrounded by a lush garden, with loungers and sun beds. Breakfast is varied enough and tasty. All in all our stay at Sora was amazing, we will gladly return whenever we have a chance.

Rooms felt a bit outdated (e.g. AC minor issues, funny odours), for that type of hotel I was expecting a late hours bar, but nothing.
