Everything about my stay at this hostel was amazing. All of the staff were so kind and welcoming. The spot right on the beach was perfect for relaxing. The food was delicious, and the room i stayed in was clean and comfortable. I can't recommend the dreamcatcher enough. The owner is so sweet, and i can guarantee you'll enjoy your stay here.

GG, the owner of the hostel, is the definition of kindness ! I had a scooter accident and she made everything for me to feel confortable and to recover in good conditions. The hostel is pretty, clean and the food is really great ! Thank you for everything, i hope to see you again !!

Such a great hostel, really feels homely and the staff as so lovely and always on hand to help when they can. The fact it is beachfront is amazing and so relaxing. Food was great, facilities are always clean. Walking distance from Nathon Pier too which is perfect.

Only the bottom bunks have a privacy 'curtain', but it didn't even cover half of the bed and you couldn't move it around.

Honestly this is one of the best hostels i’ve ever stayed at. It is not your typical “social hostel” but you easily find a good chat with a couple of people at night. There are some incredible sunsets at this place. They have an honor system at their fridge which I love. I truly mean it when I say that I’ve never encountered a better host than Gigi, she is helpful, kind and super forthcoming. There are cats that are very social roaming around which I personally love, and there is a couple of very peaceful, clean and cute stray dogs that occasionally come by. I can only recommend this place

This place has been my home for the last week of my stay on Samui. It has been an absolute dreamcatcher indeed. Hygiene was beyond great hostel standards. All clean. All neat. Lovely beach and the atmosphere here is the one you look for when you want to relax. Nights are calm and soothing because of noise-regulation rules after 10pm and the food is great. There is far more to say but you want to experience it yourself. This is definately a place i will come back to.

Only minor potential for improvement would be the dorm's curtains which don't really create a private environment. But that didn't feel uncomfortable due to the 4 bed rooms and the nice people that were staying

Hostel is located in the less touristy part of the island. A beautiful beach and a very chill atmosphere. The owner GG and her team are incredibly welcoming. Scooter rental is available and very uncomplicated. I was staying for 3 nights and had to come back in the same vacation again.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The location is perfect. The hostel is situated at their own, private beach and the common space is one of the most pleasent places to spend time. I've stayed in single room, but the common bathrooms were really okay. The bed could be a bit more comfortable (but all in all it was really okay) and the lights could be a bit better, but these were just some super tiny inconviniences and the general impression is just perfect. The staff is extremly helpful, you can eat some delicious breakfest and dinner at the hostel with some reasonable prices. It takes only around 10-15 minutes to get to Nathon pier and the night market. There are lockers you can use to put some your belongings (bring your own padlock). I absolutely and totally recommend the place. If I will go back to Koh Samui at some point I will deffinitly stay in Dreamcatcher again. Thank you for the lovely stay <3

It would be great if the upper bunks had shelves to put things on like phones and water bottles etc.

Seriously cheap, and good location. Actually booked it for my group as emergency backup option, thinking we would just no-show if things changed. But then we ended up staying there, ha ha. Fun to hang with the 20 year old backpackers for the night ( we're all retirees). They serve up some seriously cheap but decent food, also! There's da beach, some hammocks, and bean bag chairs to lounge in

If you want to stay somewhere close to the action on the island, this is not for you - it's really a place to wind down (which was perfect for me). The private room was a bit small, I couldn't unpack my bag well, but it wasn't a huge deal.

Absolutely amazing place in a quieter area of the island. The host, Gigi, will take care of all your needs (I got injured and she was immediately there with disinfectant and bandaids, even sent someone into town to buy more bandaids). You can get good food there and buy drinks, etc., so you don't really need to leave the place, but if you do, the 7/11 is 2 minutes away and it's about a 15 minute walk to Nathon Pier (where there's a Night Market and you can catch ferries to other islands). It almost feels like staying at a resort except it's cheap and not tacky. The best thing to do here is just to relax on the beachfront and enjoy the mood. Most other hostel guests are very friendly and relaxed and you'll get to know them quickly (it helps that the hostel has a guitar).
